Very nice app and the ‘listen function’ is fantastic but it would be great if that function wasn’t shut off when using headphones/line out… Would be so useful in a live situation where you want to start a click on the fly when the band is already playing… Is this something that could be fixed in the future?
I’ve used it for a week, now I have the paid version, and it crashes when selecting a new bank.
Finally a metronome where I don’t get bored after a while! Keeps practicing musical. Would love it if they add the feature where you can mute clicks independently like with the Tempo app. And also the option to just buy it ;)
I’m a musician and long time iOS developer. I really wanted to like this app because I really like Jay (and Dave) as a musician, but it falls short. First, a ‘Pro’ subscription isn’t enough to access all of the content. For $4 per month, I don’t want to be squeezed for additional libraries. So it feels like a bit of a cash grab. The app functions as advertised, but the UI is just terrible. It looks like a (bad) 90s graphic design project. There is no state saving. Regardless of how much time I spend configuring the app, it resets every time I reopen. There are a few smaller UX issues that could use improvement. Here is one example, if I set a tempo ramp to increase 4bpm every 2 bars, and I start at 82bpm and end at 100bpm, the app never gets to 100bpm. It stops at 98bpm. Yes, if you add 4 to 82 4x you’ll get 98. But I chose 100 for a reason. There are a few ways to handle this behind the scenes. Is this terrible? No. Just a bit annoying. With improvements to the UX/UI and a better in-App purchased plan, I’d reconsider this. But for now, I’m moving on.
It would of been a great app, But, it has many bugs Crashes a lot
I realized the while phones time is displayed while in landscape mode, it never syncs meaning it doesn’t update to current time. I think you forgot to write a refresh rate.
It says the new apps are not available every time I try to get it
The current functions work great but the sneak peek stuff needs to become fully functional, with new sneak peek stuff added. The app is looking a little stagnant.
Tempo button does not function Can’t use the app bummer
