Best groove and click app I have ever used… Thanks guys

I love the app but there is a very real volume issue.

I’ve been using this as my “go to” app ever since it came out. I LOVE it. Every once in awhile it would randomly be very quiet and I’d have to reconnect/reload and it would most of the time fix the issue. Now with the latest update it makes it too quiet to use anymore with no remedy. I’ve tried cranking the EQ, and of course the volumes are all the way up on both the click and groove. Hopefully they remedy it soon because I’m gonna miss it a lot in my current workflow. It might be some sort of bluetooth issue because the volume seems fine on my ipad. And yes, I’ve made sure the bluetooth speaker volume is all the way up… 2/26/24 I see that the developer responded… it definitely was NOT my phone volume for the record. I’m assuming whatever happened with the better bluetooth integration in the last update did the trick. It was the same on my phone and on my iPad. Both had terrible volume issues prior to updating each and then they both worked great. SO… being as the problem was fixed super quick after my review and that everything works great now I’ll be updating my rating. I truly LOVE the app and I’m glad to have it working for me and my students again. I’m SUPER looking forward to new grooves! I really hope they are coming soon!

Go crazy over this App a new mind opener! A+

I literally don’t know where to start… My grandfather always used to “ don't look a gift horse in the mouth”. With anything, and I mean anything you can ALWAYS find something to critique or wish it had this or done that. Look, I’ve been a professional drummer for many years. When I started out playing, my father who was and still is a professional musician and recording studio owner. So I was blessed from the beginning. A rock star for a father who owned a very sweet and popular recording studio. I was like 11 I believe 1981 and he had the legendary Linn Drum Machine that I would setup and practice to. I mean, 11yr old beginner drummer not many were knocking on the door asking to play with me. I didn’t know it at the time but all the hours I would just put some phones on and play to I was actually mastering playing with a click track, which if you are a beginner do yourself a worlds favor and get this app. Ok, speed up many years to few days ago when I downloaded GrooveClix… PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, CHRIST IN HEAVEN THANK YOU FOR MR DAVE WECKLE AND HIS PARTNER IN CRIME JAY OLIVER FOR GIFTING THE WORLD WITH THIS PRICELESS TREASURE THAT CAN NOT BE COMPARED TO BY ANY FREAKING DEVICE, APP OR PERSON!!! I know also that being human beings and wanting to always better something if there is anyway this app can just stay just like this in regards to updating infrastructure ect. Of course add new grooves but dear Lord, please don’t mess up this app by tweaking the greatness out of it. Ok stop reading this and flipping start jamming out!!!

Great metronome

Use this for several different applications. I see the pro subscription doesn’t include all the groove libraries like I thought. You need to purchase those individually. I thought they came with the subscription. It’s still a decent app I lost my stuff again. Keeps going to week free is up but I’m a paid subscriber?

I was having an issue with tempo change, but what happened, I accidentally clicked on tempo lab, here’s the awesome response! HI T-Bone Looks like you have accidentally engaged the Tempo Lab! In the lower left corner of the main interface there's a bar with four icons on it. The first one (from the left) selects the audio output you want to use. The second one turns the Groove Engine on and off, and the third one turns on the Tempo Lab, the parameters of which are adjusted by the fourth and final button. If you switch off the Tempo Lab by tapping the third button, then you can manually adjust the Tempo as you like. Tempo Lab is for practicing over a gradually increasing or decreasing tempo. It's a great feature, and if you accidentally turned it on without looking at the tutorial video first, it's easy to understand how you might think that there's a bug. It's not a bug, it's a feature!"

Interesting but way too much stuff

Too much stuff in the way. It feels like a video game.

Awesome practice tool!

Love it! Can’t wait until we can enter chord changes for a repeating number of measures. Great work Jay!

Great metronome app!

The latency of the audio to visual feed back lines up perfectly to my Bose Bluetooth headphones . Discovered later in settings that this was also adjustable. THAT’S A BIG DEAL! Love Jay Oliver’s contribution to music and music education. I highly recommend watching Jay with Dave Weckl on YouTube demonstrating how fun this will make teaching and practicing. Sincerely.
