While Growlr has potential as a social platform for the LGBTQ+ community, its lack of proper support and accountability is deeply concerning. As someone who has used the app for years, I’ve repeatedly encountered serious issues, including trolling, harassment, and even threats reported to the police. Despite contacting Growlr since 2021, the platform has failed to take meaningful action against abusive users, allowing them to remain active and even stream freely. The absence of email verification makes it easy for banned users to create new accounts and continue their harmful behavior. This flaw enables a toxic cycle of harassment, which is worsened by the lack of proactive moderation and support for those reporting abuse. For live streamers, the environment can quickly become unsafe and unmanageable due to this weak system. The platform also seems outdated in its handling of user safety, especially given the rise in global concerns about online trolling and new laws being implemented to address these issues. Growlr could be a great space for community connection, but until they implement stricter security measures and improve their customer support, it remains a frustrating and unsafe experience for users who simply want to engage positively. I sincerely hope the developers address these issues soon, as the platform has the potential to be much more than it currently is.

They love this app for some reason. I report them but dont think that does anything. Im an on and off pro member for this reason. Also, i dont think this app has had much serious development in forever. Its great that it exists for this market segment but it sorely needs a rebooting.

I am a pro member and it will not let me change my location height and weight to metric, I have contacted customer service multiple times and also sent them screenshots from my app, they are happy to take my money as a pro member but will not help me to fix the issue I have deleted the app and reinstalled it and it is still not working I will be very surprised if somebody contact me to try and help me

Great app targeted at Bears, but it’s got way too many scammers. You report them to admin and the same scammers are still there 24hrs later - it’s like they don’t care about the scammers

Can't even create an account to use the app. Absolutely USELESS WOFTAM. oy giving 1 star as I have a star to rate it's not worth the 1 star.
