Stay ahead of diabetes with the smart continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system.

Introducing the Guardian™ 4 smart CGM system featuring a new transmitter and sensor requiring no fingersticks for sensor glucose readings.* When the Guardian 4 CGM is applied to the skin, it uses a small sensor to measure sensor glucose levels every 5 minutes. Real-time readings are captured 24/7 and sent to a compatible mobile device via Bluetooth®** from a small wireless transmitter connected to the sensor, so you can see how you're doing anytime.

The Guardian mobile app is where you can view your sensor glucose, trends and log activities. The system also helps you know before you go high or low when predictive alerts are turned on. Choose when you want to be notified between 10-60 minutes in advance based on your preferred high and low range. You can select different options for alerts, such as maximizing the volume at night or muting all alerts when needed during the day.

When connected to Wi-Fi, the Guardian app can send your data to CareLink™ Personal diabetes management software, so you can see your personalized sensor glucose reports online and share them with select healthcare providers, family or friends. Those closest to you can even receive text messages whenever you go out of range.

To use the Guardian 4 system, you will need the Guardian 4 transmitter and the Guardian 4 sensor, as well as this app. The indicated age usage for the Guardian 4 system is ages 7+.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This app will only work with Guardian 4 transmitter, which was specifically designed to communicate with compatible mobile devices via Bluetooth. It will not connect to other Medtronic CGM transmitters, including the Guardian Connect and Guardian Link 3 transmitters.

The Guardian 4 system is made for people on insulin injections.

Slow updates

I have IOS 16.7.1 and they still did not updated the app for this version, it is almost a half a year from last update, how hard is it for a big company to run a test on new version of IOS and publish a update. If someone dies/ has a seizure, this company should be liable, because the app does not work properly, it regularly crashes, so I do not know my glucose...Developers of this app should be ashamed of themselves, this is about people's health and lives...

Works kinda well now after the update. The app stops music upon opening.

Aplikace se neustále odpojuje.Neporadily ani na Helpline .Zkoušel jsem napsat e-mail - bez odezvy.

Big bad updates

Tragicky pomalá podpora updates k aktualizacím iOS. A to nás nutí jej neaktualizovat. Přešel jsem dnes z iOS 15.5 😬, ktery do prichodu 16 nebyl podporován, dnes 16.1 a ejhle - není podporován 🙃

Problém

Aplikace funguje, ale poslední aktualizaci se každou hodinu odhlašuje od účtu.. řešeno již s helplinkou, ale prý už to řeší… Je to tak přes měsíc a to ani nemluvím o podpoře IOS 16 na kterou to stále není možné aktualizovat 🤦🤦

Not supporting new widgets on iOS 16 and Apple Watch

Not support any modern complications only years old widget that you can not put on homescreen, and MAINLY not support apple watch complications only notifications without ANY info about your actual MMOL level, only “high/low” and then you need to grab iphone and unlock it and than open fullscreen app to see littl graph, sometimes not even notify about your hours long high glucouse level until you open the app and then BAM notification came up like a charm… Thanks but no thanks.

Not properly working on iOS 15.

After the update on iOS 15.6 the application keeps on crushing and doesn’t recognize sensor. I was pretty happy with the smooth work on iOS 15.2. Would love also a reasonable answer or solution what to do with it. Couse it is nonsense changing sensors couple of times a day. Widget would also be welcome! Thank you for your support
