Privacy issues
Enjoying the app very much, a Pro user from the start. This would be a five star rating, but the app keeps reading the phone’s clipboard every time it is used. I get the message “Guru Maps pasted from Messenger” (for example). This is a serious breach of privacy and needs to be fixed. Wrote to Guru on Facebook, no response. Will revert to 5 stars once this issue is fixed.

.. ze względu na super mapy OpenStreetMap. Używam od lat na wszystkich urządzeniach. Szczegółowość tych map wciąż mnie zachwyca i wciąż dziwie się ze większość ludzi używa gooogle Maps. Tutaj wreszcie są mapy przypominające papierowe kolorowe plany miast a nie szaro-szare, mało wyraźne googlowe niby-mapy. W parkach zaznaczone nie tylko alejki, ale różnymi kolorami zieleni odróżniono trawę od terenów zadrzewionych. Warto przełączyć się z predefiniowanych map wektorowych właśnie na Open Steet Map. Są tez dostępne inne wersje map: rowerowe z poziomicami i ze szlakami turystycznymi, ale najbardziej czytelne są mapy OpenSM. W wersji Pro dostępne kilka wartościowych opcji jak zapis śladu, własne kolekcje punktów, tras, możliwość tworzenia folderów ze śladami i punktami, których widoczność na mapie można włączać lub ukrywać (pojedynczo lub całe katalogi) itp. Jako wyszukiwarka miejsc czy nawigacja spisuje się gorzej, ale nie dla tych walorów jej używam, lecz jako mapy - planu, w szczególności w miastach. Apka była pomocna rownież w górach Rumuni - dla potrzeb turystycznych warto sobie przełączać i sprawdzać różne podkłady. Do Offline łatwo można zaciągnąć mapy wektorowe. Ja wole wersję Open SM, ale przy tych mapach aby zmniejszyć lub wykluczyć transfer danych za granicą, przeglądam interesujący mnie obszar w PL lub pod WiFi na różnych poziomach zbliżenia - apka automatycznie zapisuje obejrzany obszar w pamięci i ponownie można go przeglądać już z wyłączony transferem danych. Gorąco POLECAM.
