Reviews

The best workout app

Alaghu on

Very customizable. So many features. Especially , the non paid version has pretty much every major feature. Take a look at the compare. Have been using it for more than 5 years. They deserve more than just these few lines of review. Every time I use the app early morning I want ti write the review then I start my exercise by the end I am tired. Today, I wanted to ensure I write this after my pushups.

The best app for strength training

Solarusdude on

I've tried a number of workout apps for strength training and Gym Log+ is definitely the best one out there. What really makes this app stand out is its core functionality (e.g. tracking sets, tracking progress, integration with the Apple Watch, integration with HealthKit) while cutting out all the bloat that other apps try to include like videos, virtual trainers, and pointless subscription services.

Promising but needs work

Dhorsey on

Was hoping to replace my old fitness app with this, but how am I supposed to enter times if you don’t give me a”:” on the keyboard? I can’t capture calories burnt unless in notes. Does not seem to note time of workout. As is, this just doesn’t work for me.

Great application

FoKyS on

This is the best one there is in my opinion. It has everything I want and need. I just love this app.

Pretty good!

esra ileg on

Nice app helps me log; a feature that could be implemented is maybe editing the order of the workouts. I tend to do them in order of how I added them to the workout plan, maybe being able to move them around would be great.

The Best App for Workouts

tbrowa on

I have been using this app for about a year and it is one of the best out there. Very customizable. For people who are new to Fitness they provide images of each exercise.

So good

Audio is great on

Don’t have to worry about being logged in to any thing. It just works.

Rock solid and great privacy

poly_sci on

I’ve used it for years and simply never had a problem with it. I appreciate all of the helpful features, especially that there is no fee to use it beyond the cheap app cost and that I can export my workout progress. Really like that when I’m on an exercise in my workout it displays history of reps and weight I’ve lifted in the past for that exercise. I especially like that no user data is collected. Most other similar apps have monthly fees and collect and share personal data.

Does not sync

GS10538 on

This is a pretty good app, having tested a lot of them. I would give it a 5. But, it has one glaring flaw: you cannot sync between different devices. I mostly use it on my iPad, but sometimes I just bring my iPhone to the gym and there is no way to sync. Am I missing something on how to do this?
