Whaaat??
I consider buying the Eventide H9 but the control software is terrible. The user interface feels like a product that had been developed 10 years ago and had no love since. I wonder if the Eventide product experience is the same.

For the H9 user its an absolute must. Regularly updated and well supported its a good piece of software.
App to control your H9, works simple and easy, also the algorithyms are easy to buy for just €17.99. Less than a new pedal :-). Can't wait for the update that's allows you control your other eventide stompboxes.
I own 2 H9 Max pedals and this app makes using them a joy.
A shame that this was for one never really written by people who knew how to write iOS applications, but much worse, was it hasn’t been updated since pre-iOS 7. The UI is really not adapted to the Dynamic Island, dynamic text, nor the Face ID devices (no affordance for the layout margins). Just make it open source and I’ll fix it. Better yet, hire me and I’ll make both your iOS and macOS software good.
Crashes
Absolute garbage. Eventide won’t let you connect until they get their greedy lil hands on your precious email address but then their registration process has glitches making so you cannot connect at all. Thanks for the quality products guys.
You guys are the best, Felix Martín.
Slight update in making the UI seem a bit kore modern, but same functionality as previous versions (although I don’t remember the landscape view from the older version, and having all knobs on one screen is helpful). However, the info part for each algorithm is now in a tiny (!) font size that is unreadable on a phone (and still in Times New Roman, while the rest of the app is a sans serif).
Works fine but it’s 2021 and the UI is straight out of 2009. Pretty clunky & unintuitive.
