Kills your battery

Absolutely smashes your battery to bits on background activity. It brought my XR (with 95% batter capacity) to an unexpected shutdown within 2 hours.

H9 and beyond

Revised review: Thank you for fixing the issue - another very happy musician 😎 App needs work. The 1⭐️ rating is for the app. Why? Sadly the app is unusable in a live situation for me. I run many different apps at the same time and the H9 control app won’t keep the preset it’s on when switching to a different app and then going back to H9. It has had disastrous and embarrassing results on stage as one can imagine. A real let down as the algorithms are top notch as expected.

Crashes instantly

It’s totally unusable, crashes as soon as I tap presets etc. Ios11 with Apple usb connection kit, such a shame...

Top quality sound

5 stars for sound quality and variety of algorithms. I wish UI to be more modern - aligned with latest iOS version ( full retina support, flat modern UI, faster transitions, gestures etc )

wouldn't programme my box of delights any other way ... maybe make it easier to compile preset lists tho? bit more drag and drop functionality?

Love it

Works really well. Much better than getting on your knees and editing using x y z and jog dial. I wish the algos were a little cheaper tho! But it IS Eventide quality.

Genius!!

This is the most inspiring joy have musically experienced in a long time, THEN there is the app which controls to a granular level of the h9 stomp box with XYpad, saving presets to real time tap tempo..... Only eventide could come up with Bluetooth innovation!! Someone at the side of the stage changing the presets and controls when needed??? Brilliant
