Good basics but inflexible interface
I purchased the app for a streamlined basic habit former and tracker. It has been reliable for the past year and linked well with ical. The notifications are excellent and I like the clean presentation. However, one area for improvement is the flexibility of the app. It would be useful to have a "reschedule" single swipe function to move a habit to another date when life gets in the way. For example, I was called into work to cover for a sick colleague and wanted to catch up on my reading goal of 10 pages a day, but could not load the habit onto a Saturday when I had time to read 30 pages - and did. Instead, I needed to reverse and tick the habit on the previous days which did not give a true picture of how the habit had played out in reality. I found that the weekly habits such as gym time (3 times a week) cannot easily be moved to another day if you miss a session. You can only tick completed, fail, or log progress or go into settings and change the daily schedule permanently. So on weeks where my work shifts changed, I would need to go back to Tuesday for a gym session completed on Thurs. Maybe there is an easy work around for all of this, but I could not see it. So a good all round app with reliable reminders but a bit inflexible at times.
