Our Mobile Banking app can do everything you’d expect, maybe a little extra. And you can use it whenever and wherever you want. So you can crack on if you’re on the bus, at work, or simply can’t tear yourself away from the telly.
THE BASICS
- Sign in quickly and securely with Touch ID, Face ID or a 3-character combination from your memorable information
- Swipe easily to see balances and statements
- You can now block or cancel subscriptions in the app, just search for “subscriptions” in the app to find out more
- View details of individual transactions
- Check money coming in and going out
- Receive notifications about payments and spending insights on your current account
- Make transfers and payments (it’s so easy)
- Manage your standing orders and view direct debits
- Pay your loan or credit card bill
- Pay in cheques
- Set up new payees or pay your phone contacts.
A FEW EXTRAS
- Earn as you spend with Cashback Extras
- Apply for loans, savings, cards and more
- Call us safely from the app – we’ll already know it’s you so can quickly connect you without the usual security checks.
STAY SAFE
- Freeze card transactions if you’ve temporarily misplaced your debit card or want to restrict how it’s used
- Report lost or stolen cards
- Order replacement cards and PINs
- Reset your Online Banking password
- Update the contact details we have for you.
GETTING STARTED
New to this app? No problem. Just register your device and you’re ready to go. For this you’ll need:
- An up-to-date phone number registered with us
- Halifax UK personal account
- Online Banking username, password and memorable information (you can create these in the app).
KEEPING YOU SAFE ONLINE
We do all we can to protect you online. This includes preventing connections from the app on devices that we think have been tampered with. We also have an online banking guarantee: http://www.halifax.co.uk/aboutonline/security/
CONTACTING YOU
We won't contact you any more than normal if you use the app. But please stay alert to email, text messages or phone calls that appear to be from us. Criminals may try to trick you into giving them sensitive personal or account information. We'll never contact you to ask for these details. Any emails from us will always greet you personally using your title and surname and either the last 4 digits of your account number or the last part of your postcode '*** 1AB'. Any text messages we send you will come from Halifax . IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Mobile Banking is available to our Online Banking customers with a UK personal account. Services may be affected by phone signal and functionality. Terms and conditions apply.
Please note that features requiring the use of your device’s phone capability, such as Call us, won’t work on iPads.
When you use this app we collect anonymous location data to help combat fraud, fix bugs and improve future services.
Touch ID requires at least iPhone 6s running iOS 14.0 or above or iPad (5th generation), iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or iPad mini 3 (or later models). Face ID requires either iPhone X or later models, or iPad Pro with Face ID capability (2018 onwards).

Paying credit card process confusing

Having been a Halifax credit card holder for a number of years the process to make an additional payment to my card has changed. The new link to click that routes you to your bank account to pay from is not very user friendly and took far longer to navigate that it should. The older route despite inputting my card number in full was far more straight forward

I’ll be with Halifax for about a year now brother yeah that’ll be me Halifax and experience lost of money I’ve contact the bank ask them to change my name and just put my initial on the bank my bank told me if I want to change my name I’ve got to change it by Depol when I contact them and ask them to have a look into my case they tell me that they’ve looked into it and they corrected it fine but and also did the bank also told me that they were willing to pay pay for me to change my name by Depol for them to just put my initials on a bankcard i’ll be with Halifax for about a year now for the year that we Halifax I’ve experience lost of money I’ve contact the bank ask them to change my name and just put my initial on the bank my bank told me if I want to change my name I’ve got to change it by Depol when I contact them and ask them to have a look into my case they tell me that they’ve looked into it and they corrected it fine but and also did the bank also told me that they were willing to pay pay for me to change my name by Depol for them to just put my initials on my bankcard even now I’ve been with them for less than a year I haven’t received my bank statements or anything of the sort for the bank continuously discriminate against me and make it like they’re working for me which in the case they are not it’s nothing but systematic abuse and refusing to look in any form of issue banking issue that I have a refund in the beat refund me back my money when money go missing the bank don’t look into it either which I find very disgusting that I’ve been using my name before even been with them as a bankHow found a discrimination in the face from the bank And the racism in dealing with my case but yet still I’m part of the common law and slavery days are supposed to be abolished but you’re still the one to put modern day slave Do you want to suffer discrimination and racism from your bank and financial loss and coaching you towards self harm move to Ali fax they’re absolutely disgusting if you want to save your life run away from Halifax as it’s not Bank your Waze Bank Halifax way and they don’t care genuinely don’t care Can I receive a letter from Halifax bank asking to leave because they failed to protect my money if you want to give me back my money duplicated all my accounts also come and change all the information on my account without my permission and on top of it now if you can leave the van by the 30th of August when they’ve also put me in financial str
