No Audio???

I had this app about a year and a half ago and it had audio then- and I redownloaded it and suddenly the audio doesn’t work. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading it several times and still nothing.

It’s is about how hard you try and the purity of intent. As a guilt ridden, white newcomer from the UK I applaud this attempt to preserve First Nations culture through this brave effort to propagate and document First Nations language. The attempt alone, however successful, is worthy of 5 stars. If I learn 5 phrases then I will have accomplished something on a personal level. I already understand much of the “Spirit” of Indigenous belief and find it to be the closest thing to my own life belief. Thank you for letting me experiment with verbalisation. I hope this is a passionate work in progress and the circle continues. Hoi chek Hociem (with apologies for incorrect spelling I will look it up on the app momentarily.

That is a big, big disappointment for me. Is anyone working on it? Would be nice to have it in next version. Good job, otherwise! Thank you.

Awesome, but more grammer?

I'm so glad to have this app and know words from the native language here, and a non-First Nations. Personally, I think a grammer type section would be great. Just with things like "I, you, he, she, it, we, y'all, they etc" and maybe how verbs work. "I talk, you talk, I dont talk, you dont talk" etc. I dont know how the linguistics of the language but it would be good to have that type of structure I feel. really appreciate the audio, super glad to have it!!

Some rudimentary phrases missing; thank you, for instance. It needs an explanation of the phonetic alphabet used: What is the sound of x underlined? Despite the foregoing, a hearty "well done" from someone trying to learn Hul'q'umi'num
