Cute farming sim like Stardew Valley but too many ads
I really enjoyed the aesthetic and mechanics of the game - it is very similar to Stardew Valley, but more cute and anime-style. It’s also more guided than Stardew in terms of story progression which means you can jump in anytime after a break but it can be a little restrictive and linear. However the main issue and reason why I’m giving it two stars is because ultimately it’s unplayable as a free-to-play as there are too many ads that pop up RANDOMLY in the middle of the gameplay. It feels very disruptive, which counteracts the cozy atmosphere of the game, and the only way to get rid of them is to pay a subscription :( Paying a sub to get better aesthetics and faster development is understandable but just to get an uninterrupted gameplay experience? I would be very willing to pay a once-off to get rid of the ads, but a subscription is a little too much commitment and I think this is a major oversight.
