Great that it saves between mobile and laptop for on the go
Since the recent revamp of the mobile app the responsiveness is slower and it actually takes longer to process a time sheet than previous. Takes longer to get basic reports and the layout changes are not as good as the old. It’s so bad I’ve started using the browser version on my phone.
The old app I would have rated 5 stars. The new app 2 stars. There is so much functionality missing when compared to the website. I would like the old app to come back. The new app is missing the ability to see how individual employees are tracking and so much more. You only see it at a team level. Also functionality Re invoice reporting is limited, was better on the old app.
The update is a huge step backwards. It’s hard to find the most useful functions, when it used to be so intuitive. For example, when I create an invoice on my desktop it doesn’t appear in the mobile app like it did before. I really don’t know how this version could be considered an improvement on anything. Please go back to how it was.
Truly unhappy with the updated app (Nov 2022). We relied on the Month view and the ease of accessing it, but now it's replaced with a Week view only. Our contractors bill us monthly, so a weekly report is useless to us. And what's with forcing a big green Timer button on us? What businesses actually work that way? We don't 'Track Time', we record billable amounts. I just need to be able to quickly enter that I worked 3 hours on this project, and 4 hours on that project. Which are usually the same projects as the day before, so why isn't there a simple gridded week view for time entries like on the webpage version of Harvest??
Latest update while looking pretty removes the very useful monthly report.
Last version was better, unnecessary update.
New update doesn’t work properly on iPhone max. It’s gone from a very usable app to something that looks like a beta version
I’ve been using since 2017 and it has gone from strength to strength. Great integration with Xero.
