It doesn’t work
I’ve been trying to get this thing to connect and work… nothing. Two of us in the house tried to get it to work. Still nothing. Save your money and time. This is not worth it.

The app is a bit underdeveloped but cmon, the camera price and point of origin should tell ya what to expect. Seen others claiming won’t connect to WiFi, I had to refresh the initial login multiple times before it would find my WiFi which was wpa2 and then you can also manually type in your WiFi ssid (user name) to force it to not rely solely on discovering your WiFi.. but if you’re pretty close both to the router and the camera you should see it after a refresh or two … as far as the user experience.. as I said.. it worked and what not but it’s certainly not a Reolink or higher end product. Video on the card obv much clearer than what you’ll see watching the stream either in real time or in playback on your phone. Alarms would trigger and notify I bought it mostly just to try it as my first cam for keepin an eye on my dog. So, hope this helps. As with all these companies you have to know they will record your data and store your business / video footage on their servers whether you want/pay or not and you also risk getting malware / backdoor hacked especially if you don’t have a robust network setup placing the cameras on an isolated extension of your network which you can learn about via YouTube / google. Won’t avoid the footage being saved but will prevent potential hidden executable files/ malware/ etc from actually getting in to where they could really do some damage. Network consciousness, it’s an unfortunate necessity nowadays hacking is as simple as copy and paste or sending you a cord to plug in with a product … cheers.

As soon as I connect camera to Wi-Fi, I’m unable to watch the camera. ☹️
Followed the directions it came with, but it wanted me to modify my router, which would then mess up the connections to all of my other home devices. Waste of time.
It seems like a lot of people are confusing the camera password (don’t miss the first letter in the default password) with the WiFi password for your router. When it pops up the WiFi password form you have to tap the form field to enter both WiFi SSID and password - it won’t pop up a separate password form like you might be expecting from your router. Having then connected to your secure WiFi then I would recommend going in and changing your camera password for best available security. After much fiddling around to get this to work it did finally work as advertised and seems to work reasonably well. So stick it with it - it could definitely do with better documentation on how to set up.
I’ve already read other reviewers saying the same thing, but I’m adding my similar experience nonetheless, if for no other reason than to heighten the odds that others are more quickly able to learn about such a giant software failure *before* they waste any valuable money/time purchasing this useless product. I’m using an iPhone with the latest iOS (which is iOS 14.7.1 as I write this), and the associated app simply *NEVER* allows you to enter the password for your local wifi—despite its asking if you need to enter a password. As a result, I have to assume that it will only connect to an unprotected Wifi, which NO ONE is willing to have—especially those who are trying to protect valuables with cameras like these. Do not buy this product, unless you enjoy hours of frustration followed by repackaging your purchases and going through the hassle of returning them.
It recorded nicely the first night. But now if I leave the app the camera disconnects and it’s very difficult to turn it on remotely. Kind of defeats the hidden purpose if you constantly need to grab it to Try to turn it on.
The only thing that I hate about this app is when I put it in 4K it looks like it’s on 144q
The app crashes or the picture freezes frequently while recording video. It also struggles to connect to the camera after more than an hour of the camera being on.
