Tracking not great
Tracking was incredibly shaky despite good lighting and positioning of the phone. Struggled to read the text on the control panels of the planes I was flying while using this. Wouldn’t recommend buying

Cannot get this to work, tried everything and want my money back.. disappointing
Cool app. Tried using it for star citizen head tracking but the app doesn’t seem to work well in the dark. Playing with lights on is a bit immersion breaking for me so I stopped using. Dev could try using the IR camera in the app which would solve my issues.
I followed the tutorial video and the free trail ran out before it would work. I’m not paying for something that’s so awkward to install not knowing if it will even work.
This app just kept saying the host is not responding at first, after searching about I could not find anything that fixed the issue. However after reading about connection issues for another app I have discovered a setting called Wi-fi assist. If you get the same issues turn this off! It’s making you connect to your mobile data network instead of your Wi-fi and thus breaking this otherwise brilliant app! Hopefully this is added to the help section so future users don’t struggle to get it working.
Works great in combination with opentrack. As smooth as using my VR HMD as source. A suggestion: add an option to make the screen black to reduce battery usage or possible screen burn on oled displays.
A wonderful piece of software (App) that does exactly what it intends too. With this app installed on your iPhone or iPad that has a “3D depth camera” (the Face ID camera on iPhones X and up, and iPad models that have the 3D depth Face ID camera)... and also the required receiving software on PC, then your good to go and it works straight-of-the-cuff in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 without even touching any settings in Flight Simulator 2020. There are instructions on the internet to set this up and for downloading and setting up the software required in the PC end (OpenTrack software unless mistaken). The only initial critical settings that must be done after the softwares have been setup up to communicate, is the mapping curves. It works! My only experienced disadvantage so far, is that the tracked movements in the sim are not quite as smooth as they should be, but this is clearly “not” the App. The app shows your face on the iPhone/iPad with 3D axis displayed and one can see that it is ultra smooth and accurate. I suspect the issue is with the PC, and/or Flight Simulator 2020 and/or network.
I’ve used facetracking as well as home-made IR solutions for head tracking, but this works very well using the iPhone’s excellent camera. Very smooth (providing your OpenTrack setup is set right). Also make sure iPhone camera is set to shoot 60fps video for best performance. I would only suggest adding an option to turn the screen off when tracking is on and just show the tracking axis. It’s handy to see yourself when initially testing the app, but after a while it’s just distracting to have your face looking out at you while you game.
When using the software headtracker, my device is usually in landscape, but no matter if I turn off or turn on the rotation lock on my ipad, the camera always shoots in portrait in the software, which results in a very small field of view that the software gets, and most of the time I can't adjust the camera to shoot in portrait (the software's own rotate button doesn't show up), so please add add a button to the software that is always displayed to allow me to adjust the camera to landscape orientation.
When I start the app and open track it does not read my video on my phone and it says “no video” on my pc. I don’t know if I need to do something else to fix it.
