Great little App

Sloanrangerr on

As a runner I have found this app pretty handy, when set up properly it ties in with my health ( Apple) and my Garmin, but generally I just like seeing how quick my HR returns to normal after running, it is pretty accurate ( down to 3-5 Beats per minute) I know because I have compared it to my calibrated Blood 02 meter, your results may differ from mine and, my word is not to be mistaken for reference to take this as completely medically accurate, it gives you a good idea

I done my heart rate on it, totally wrong, the reason is I’m sure I would be dead if my heart rate was 188 when I’m resting. Don’t even bother to waste your time downloading it.

Not accurate.

tjhruridjf on

According to this app, my pulse was fluctuating between 189 bpm and 42bpm over a period of 10 seconds. I took my pulse manually and it's 50 bpm. Didn't give an overall reading and does not stop automatically after 15 seconds as it says in the settings.

Best of free I have found

phosc on

A truly free app that not only gives a reliable blood pressure reading but also an extremely useful trace of the beats which enables you to assess the quality and the regularity of the beats. Also stores a history which can be recalled. Had some heart issues and found this most useful. Most grateful.

Does the job

EdzioJary on

Simple but effective. Largely consistent with traditional methods

WARNING FALSE READINGS

shadymoin on

It's my duty to tell everyone this app does not give ACCURATE readings. Do a comparative check find your pulse on wrist or at jugular on your neck and check pulse for 10 seconds and then x by 6 will give you an accurate reading! This app gave me readings of 47 to 66 despite by heart rate being at 75-84! It is dangerous and should be used with caution!

Slow reader

john'O'Dreams on

Often 3X45secs.”readings” are required to achieve result. Could this be a dirty lens or finger? Extra precautionary instructions are required!

Easy to use does the job well. And I like being able to look over previous history and see the pattern of my palpitations problem. Thank you.
