Helium AUv3 MIDI Sequencer

I am very impressed of the ipad apps from 4Pocket, and also Helium has been very impressing. But lately there has been some problems using Helium with Cubasis 3: After installing some chord Progressions in Helium the sound has abruptly «transposed» to very low chords approximately 3-4 octaves below the installed chords and notes. And as such the sound is only «rumble». Hope this will be fixed as I am looking forward to utilizing the creative power of Helium.

(No, you didn’t. ) I hit velocity, and the following behavior is nothing like what you demonstrated. I turn on chord track and it doesn’t make a difference. I double tap, or hold on the blank chord track bar and nothing is shown. Please, please, show us from absolute scratch , with nothing preset in your demonstration and at the beginning of the tutorial how to get the and add chords in the track.

What’s the point of exporting midi files if I can’t access them. Only helium will open midi files created in helium. Anything created in helium is unavailable. Just call it "save project". The helium folder remain empty…

I do not know what “AUM” is. I was hoping I could create music within the app itself; however, where is the sound? Volume is turned up and I do not hear anything! Developer has many videos on YouTube; however, I do not have time to listen to them all, which would probably take hours. Don’t get this unless you are a professional musician!

...a scissor tool is not included in the many tools this one has. Otherwise would be a 5/5 or at least would be pretty close. Please include in an update. Thanks

Just wish i could view more ghost tracks at the same time, and they were more visible so i could see all the midi note on different tracks on the same piano roll with different colors. Other than that, its useful.

Loop isn't available in song mode, so helium follows it's own at her than the host (AUM) tempo, his would be good as an option, but manually changing tempo on the fly is very inconvenient. Also, having some inconsistent behavior with loops in song mode, and some strange triggering behavior : if I use a keyboard as a midi recording input, then use it to playback, it does strange things like run through the undo history and muting playback loops.

Needed an app to import MIDI files generated by Piano Motifs and play them in AUM. You can do this with one instance of Helium in AUM. I import a folder with the Piano Motifs clips into the Media Bay and then import the MIDI clips into different tracks (channels in AUM). Sync and then play! A breeze to use.

I’m hearing a lot of great reviews about this app, but, I just don’t understand what is going on as far as the connection between this app and AUM, the app works just fine; for some reason, Helium is not even listed at all, I’ve even tried Audiobus and not in the database. I have an iPad 8G (iOS 14.4.1) I can’t even see its full potential because of this issue, hopefully it may be something I’m doing wrong. Any help would be gladly appreciated, thanks.
