Here Comes the Bus

The app is easy to use and I think it’s excellent for parents grandparents to use to know when the bus is expected in the area where the children will be dropped off or it’s extremely informative and definitely a useful tool for awareness of the whereabouts children going to and from school also to be in the bus as in substitutions or even a change in route app

Used to work for one of my kids for a little bit then it stopped working. For my other kid it always say not in service, but does send me some email notifications which don’t mean anything as the tracking itself doesn’t work..

Seriously, this shouldn't be hard to get right and a tracking system so you know when (or if) the bus is coming is a no brainer. So I hope someone will create an app that works properly to take advantage of ubiquitous technology making it possible. In the meanwhile there is this app. Sometimes it knows where the bus is but many days it doesn't. For the past week we have just been getting "vehicle position unavailable" messages so have to count on the bus showing up as scheduled. We have had many instances where new drivers were lost or forgot to pick up the child, so also having no visibility in the app that is supposed to show you where the bus is leaves you standing out in the cold for a long time wondering what will happen next and if an unplanned drive to the school will be necessary. What prompted me to write this review, however, was a notification I just received saying that, over an hour after my six year old was supposed to be at school she is in an entirely different city many miles away from school so I'm wondering why she is there and / or where she actually is. Not so good when the app can't find the bus, but much more concerning when it can't find your child. If I was a school administrator I wouldn't waste money on this product but find one that actually works. Or get some of your smarter students to write one, it isn't rocket science.

Keeps telling to set a name for the iPhone for “notifications”

I like the app the only issue I have is it isn’t in real time like maps it has a lag. Maybe there’s a reason for that, I don’t know. But overall I like that I can see the bus before it arrives.

Low budget, barely operational. Often does not up date in time. Notifications are unreliable.

This year it had more issues not working compared to the last two years!!!

It’s ok when it works. Sometimes it tells us it’s in the circle and it’s passing the stop. Sometimes the times aren’t accurate.

This service is the most unreliable App ever..! Never provides the correct location or maintains the schedule.
