Mega pay to win
You have to ram money into this game to get remotely far or decent heroes, the game it self is fine and fun to play but is spoiled by mega over priced things to get heroes and certain things and the adventure mode is near enough impossible to get the adventure hero never mind completing the seasons adventure. Everything is too over priced and I do not agree with having to pay to get certain heroes on a game based on the characters you can play as and using the same character is very boring
Starts off well… but there is one MAJOR problem
The game starts great. I purchased the ad-free version not long after starting, and I’ve been buying the Hero Pass every month. But there is one major problem that is starting to irritate me and make me think about quitting. The problem: Runestones/Star Tokens. Runestones will give you tokens for any hero, regardless of whether you do or don’t own that hero. I have mountains of tokens piled up for heroes I don’t own (and never will unless I pay for them). My 2 strongest heroes have been stuck at Level 100 for months because I barely ever win tokens for heroes I actually own. Right now, they’re adding a new hero almost weekly. The more heroes they add to the game, the worse this problem will get. PLEASE sort it out developers.

Banned for bug
Paid £20 for no ads. Played the game for a month and then one day there was a BUG in the game that awarded me extra amount of gems and for that I got accused of cheating, then subsequently banned. After contacting support I got offered to delete all of my progress, which was substantial, and restart the game from scratch. The developers take zero ownership for their mistakes and are prepared to punish paying customers when they screw up. The worst experience I have ever had in gaming, ever. My advice is to not spend a single penny on this game as the same can happen to you.

It’s okay, but just like any game that’s same like this, full of micro transactions, literally pops up and asks you for money for almost everything that you do, if you want to progress you need to pay. It’s a shame good game but ruined by pay2win.
Brilliant… but greedy
The in app purchases on this game are insane. What was once a quite reasonable optional amount to spend (£9.99 if you chose to for lots of extra stuff) now is suddenly shadowed by a £39.99 a month option for the ‘Legend Pass’. I feel like the devs are missing a trick though, if they dropped their prices dramatically, more people would pay it on a whim, rather than having to seriously consider or out right dismiss the very thought of doing so. Before you even get to play the game you have to click off several IAP options and it’s really rammed down your throat at every opportunity and this is with the “ad free” version. I’m on 450-something day streak now and although there is constant new content (which I’m aware cannot be completely free) the constant new cash grabs are really putting me off continuing. Sad for what used to be an enjoyable game you could either spend a few minutes playing right up to a couple of hours if I had the time.
