I honestly enjoy this game. It seems a lot more work and value has been put into this game compared to 111%’s other recent titles. They need to add a little more power to the player though. This studios games make LUCK a very heavy factor in the gameplay and it always works great! You get lucky or unlucky and you have to work with it to succeed! However, this game is a little too much, you’re lucky, or unlucky, and that’s that. This isn’t much room to change your fate after your luck has been decided.
Dont usually give reviews
All i can say to be short is that it is worth and good. Too lazy to write more.
Great start, game has a lot of potential
This is my first review. I love this game so far. It is a little bit lacking in content (as is expected with a new game). 111% is great at adding content post-release. As a big fan of Lucky Defense (and 111% in general), I am excited to see what is added in the future. The gameplay is slightly shallow, but has an addicting loop and simple, easy-to-learn mechanics. I think this game could benefit from customization options for the dice or armors.
Two things I am struggling with at the moment (but may figure out over the next couple days), is figuring out what works for builds when in-game, and the use of pets. I can’t tell if pets are automatically used or if they need me to click the button, but I hardly ever get the opportunity to click the pet button while in battle. It would be nice if pets were automatically used when their cooldown is up.
As for builds, you get equipment with a certain level, and certain rarity (with rarer equipment having special abilities and effects). It seems like it is best to mostly go for equipment that is higher level, unless you have a piece of rare equipment a level or two below max. This minimizes the effect that upgrades have on your build, because you may end up getting rid of equipment that you have specialized in after purchasing the upgrades. It would be nice to see a tile that upgrades the level of a piece of equipment, and not just an attribute of the equipment. If there is, I haven’t found it yet.
It would be nice if there were more active players in global chat, or if there was a discord like there is for Lucky Defense .
Yes, there are in-app purchases (IAPs), but it is easy to click past the screen that may occasionally pop up. I may even spend money on this game if the gameplay had more depth or if the IAPs felt worth it. At this time, they do not.
Overall, there is a lot more that is great about this game than I have said here, from fun minigames, to a gacha-style pet collection, to new bosses and difficulties. I hope this game gains some more traction and gets a little bit of the 111% love put into it!
Almost there…
Honestly this could be THE BEST game available on mobile but it falls short on player input. I feel as if the limited choices you have to make don’t have any real impact on the actual game itself. The game is so attractive that I don’t want to stop playing but what am I even playing for? I know I’m just rolling dice and hoping for the best when what I want is to be able to counteract that luck with good decision making. I hope this gets seen and something changes cause I think the whole idea is awesome. The characters so far are funny. Just missing the challenge. Getting luckily just doesn’t hit the same
Can’t play game?
Download 48 hours ago. Still haven’t played. I can’t seem to get passed the initial screen of the knight looking up at the doors. Would love to try this game out
Oddly Satisfying
Having played Random Dice since its release, I wanted to see what else 111% was cooking up. This Board Game, Rougelike, Dungeon Crawler is oddly satisfying and I’ve been mindlessly playing this for HOURS. I can’t wait to see what else 111% plan to do with this game, but it’s a real smash hit!
Good game great game
Deoksoon wants me so bad bro
Not bad but can’t save
It just restart again and again after I shut down the game. I am sure this kind of loop is not a good design to anyone.
good gameplay, bad experience
The gameplay is not bad. I played for 2 hours in my first run. But I lost all my saves when I start the app again, bad bad
Fun gameplay, annoying IAPs
The gameplay loop is really fun and the graphics feel polished. So far I haven’t felt like I’ve hit a wall where I need to spend $$$ to win, but I do wish the game pushed these bundles and payments on me less. I’m not opposed to spending a little $$ here and there, but seeing an IAP popup before the actual game screen is a huge turn off.
