It worked for about an hour the first day, and then it stopped working.
I’ve only used this for fifteen minutes, but I already I’m very happy with it. I came from a Samsung. Instant Voice control was native to the phone. And the lack of that feature has been my biggest beef with the 14 Pro. I seriously considered trading in this three month old phone on that principle alone. All the shortcuts I tried for the iOS system were incredibly slow in response time. This app is immediate and I love that. Defs worth the $3 But there are a couple of things I’ve noticed that hopefully you can improve for the future. 1) I don’t need a visual indicator that my photo has been saved. Because I’m often doing rapid shooting, it just gets in the way of the next photo I want to shoot. Plz consider making it optional. 2) I’d like to access my macro and wide angle functions 3) when recording video, plz have it truncate the recording at the point the command ‘Stop Video’ is issued. It’s really weird to hear that at the end of every video clip and a
The title says it. I was able to take two pictures and now it just locks up as soon as I open the app. I really need a voice command for pictures, but this one doesn’t function at all.
My video wouldn’t stop recording. Not impressed. I shouldn’t have to join Twitter for tech support. REFUND PLEASE!
Doesn’t work through AirPods so what’s the point It made it seem like you could set it down at a distance and control it through Bluetooth
The voice function was sweet. The camera worked well. The catch? If you don’t have a network connection the app doesn’t save any of the images or videos you take. So, it’s pretty much worthless if you’re an outdoorsman. Would have preferred to give it half a star.
This camera app refuses to focus and every image, even in the preview, is blurry. Very basic functionality...but disappointing considering the Apple camera is amazing. I imagine the results of Hey Camera's photos must be what it looks like if you have a bad case of cataracts. Am I missing some setting? I believe I wasted my money on this one.
You can take about 5 pictures then you have to pay for the “unlimited version” and it locks you out from doing anything. I wasn’t even able to determine if I liked it…
For my use, there is no substitute for what this app accomplishes. It's the equivalent of having another person on hand. It solves two of my major handicaps when attempting a snapshot using one hand. 1) Holding an object using both hands while attempting a snapshot 2) My challenge of pressing the shutter button while holding iphone with one hand. My phone (XS Max) is so big along with it's case, that it's next to impossible for me to do this, and I have fairly large hands. Positioning the iphone and propping it up in the right location is MUCH easier than trying to be an octopus in this situation. Besides the main snapshot feature, there are many more settings & adjustments available to tailor this app for one's use. You might not use an app like this often, but when you do, it's indispensable!
