We make history. Each of our documentaries and podcasts delve into key events from history with insights from experts, survivors, and historians. These are all downloadable onto any device so you can watch them even when you are offline.

To access all features and content you can subscribe to History Hit on a monthly or yearly basis with an auto-renewing subscription right inside the app.* Pricing can vary by region and will be confirmed before purchase in the app. In app subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of their cycle.

Soup to nuts, it has it all there

More cinematic docs please

More ancient Egypt BEYOND king Tut. There WERE other pharaohs and queens. MORE ancient docs. The Medusa one was great. LESS podcasts and people sitting in a room talking having said that they are still pretty interesting Also there were OTHER monarchs than Henry the. 8th and Ann B. finally the app needs more work as far as navigation for example thr toggling on Apple TV is a mess. Same with the iPads where I usually watch it. New content is rare. More new stuff more often would be great

Great content

I love HH. I watch it more than any other streaming service by far. My one beef about the app is the search function and available categories is not the greatest, when just trying to randomly find something to watch. It could be better.

Very Professional and Scholarly

A bit heavy on English history, especially Tudor Britain/War of the Roses, but always properly based on real current research. You’d expect a dry presentation, but that’s what you’re looking for your going to be disappointed. History Hits offers you the recorded story of humanity told by the best storytellers.
