We make history. Each of our documentaries and podcasts delve into key events from history with insights from experts, survivors, and historians. These are all downloadable onto any device so you can watch them even when you are offline.

Love it!

Great hosts and great information! It’s not always easy to make history entertaining and keep the information solid, my main interest is medieval England and History Hit certainly does a good job there!

Worth every penny if you enjoy history it’s got great variety as well something for everyone

My favourite channel

I watch something of interest most evenings - there is always something new that catches my eye and you learn something new all the time. I have watched items that I haven’t thought I’d find interesting before but I get gripped and I often follow up the video or audio track with further reading - superb chanel

Perfect streaming service for history nerds

History Hit is a great streaming service for anyone interested in history. They have a wide range of different time periods and styles of documentaries and podcasts and are always adding new stuff. I know that subscription fatigue is real and they do have a lot available for free on Youtube and Podcasts but personally I’m much happier to give my money to something producing quality content that I can actually learn from. Highly recommend.

Worth every penny. This is what the field of history needs. Dan Snow is a national treasure. Love the edition of Alice Loxton too. Other presenters are fascinating. Can’t get enough of you’re a fan of the past

Fantastic content let down by UI

Guys, please give the UI a little attention as the ssexcellent material is let down by difficulty of finding it… For example, I had to stumble across “Uncovering Brand Of Brothers” Ep 1 and found Episode 2, but from there? With no release date attached to each episode it is difficult to know if a series is still being produced or has been abandoned. Perhaps a browse option split by category so you can drill down to specific topics, the Home Screen is excellent for finding new interests but sometimes you just want more Market Garden. Two days into trial so far will be continuing subscription, took a while for Dan to convince me with his “Netflix for history fans ads”!

Not able to get it on my smart TV unless I subscribed thru Amazon

I’ve cancelled. Will try via Amazon
