Food database lacking
I was recommended this app as I was a bit sick of MyFitnessPal. I love the interface and the fasting feature and the other food/dietary recommendations. Unfortunately it seems a lot of foods in New Zealand aren’t loaded into the database and I found it too time consuming adding it in for almost every meal. So sadly I’ll be going back to MyFitnessPal simply because it has a larger food database.
I want a refund.
I’m really disappointed in this app, I’m 13 6kgs and 156 and it said I needed to eat only 1680 kcals which is 1 absurd and 2 unhealthy. I have paid 36 dollars Nz for a app hoping for it too be good. The scans don’t even work either! I scanned 1 cookie and it said beer cake and apple? Like what it’s a cookie. I also can not add new foods very easily it’s a hard work around the app and too complicated, call me old fashioned but that’s my opinion. I want my money back it’s way too much and for low amounts of work on the app I think my 8 year old coding classes would of made better on scratch.
Barcode
The barcode scanner isn’t working properly. Can’t scan any barcode.
Won’t stop taking money
I cancelled my subscription AND deleted my account and they are still taking money out of my account. Definitely a scam.
Hotmail App
The worst and most complicated app, not user friendly, the short time of using it, it doesn’t seem to be like what the reviews are saying.
Think twice, certainly not for me and a waste of money.
Thanks.
Pay subscription to build their database
I live in New Zealand and the app wasn’t able to scan even a single bar code. I have to manually enter all calories for each food item. Effectively, I paid an annual subscription just to build you a database. If the app doesn’t save me time then I would rather use spreadsheets for free.
There was another user from NZ who complained about the same issue 2 years ago and nothing was done.
I applied for a refund and now I am waiting for the response.
Great tracker
Great if you have a watch that instantly updates on the app.
Only thing is. There is no way to remove a meal or food item! They keep telling me there is an X somewhere, and there just isn’t on iPhone 13 Pro
Really convenient
I am stingy when I am about to spend money on subscriptions. Love the water intake tracker. This app is so easy to use. I like the option that you can add your calories depending on the food that is not included in the food database.
No response from Support Team
I tried to contact the support team, but they haven't responded yet. As I am a breastfeeding mother, I need to recalculate the number of calories I should consume per day. Unfortunately, the app doesn't allow me to edit my goals. I have requested a refund, but I am still waiting for their response.
Trial to short
The 3 day trial isn’t very long before it starts billing at $19.99/wk. Didn’t bother moving beyond that as I’m notoriously bad for remembering to review trial periods and next thing my credit card gets hit.
