Sets you up to fail (and have to buy from the store)
I thought this would be a fun challenge where strategy really mattered and you’d have to keep trying to get it. But it doesn’t matter what you do - the game will always find a way to end your life. You’ll get pop ups to buy extra lifespan. It would’ve been great otherwise. But it’s just another game where you can’t win if you don’t spend. Rather don’t make it free. I’ve had this on my phone for a few days and played constantly. The game has so much potential but the execution isn’t great. It’s completely random, even when you “spend days” to ensure better odds. At the same time, it seems to do negative things when you’re doing well. For example, if you buy a watch or moonshine in advance, suddenly the price drops. Or suddenly you won’t be selling houses - I went through 2 “promotions” without selling a single house. When you’ve got money for tax it doesn’t take it, but when your money is low it’ll suddenly take all your tax at once (not every 15 days as the game suggests). I wanted to like it, and had a few moments where I genuinely enjoyed it. But it’s rigged to make you pay real money, and it doesn’t make sense a lot of the time (it’ll say the market is dropped and it’s a good time to buy a house, but then the houses aren’t actually cheaper than usual). It also doesn’t have anything to safe guard your career process if you accidentally click on the other careers. Suddenly you’ll be hired every single time and your bar with be reset.
