The app did not work correctly. For some reason my Instagram messages would not go through. While I was on the phone none of the data worked either Waste of money

First, I must say the eSIM product and speed is great. No complaints whatsoever, nice one. But they don’t give you any information about data sharing limits on the app. Quite a few times my internet just stopped working, which is pretty anxiety inducing when you’re travelling and rely on it for maps and navigation. Contacted customer service about what’s going on, and they just came back with “we’ve fixed it”without telling me what happened. After a few attempts I learnt there were data caps, one rep told me 1gb and another 500mb. That would have been nice to know as I wouldn’t have committed to a 30 day plan to start with. Next time I tried to use it with a new sim in a new country, supposedly I’d used up all my data sharing cap before I’d even connected it to my iPad or any other devices. The team then went on to tell me I should have checked the data sharing limits before I purchased it on their website, when I’d purchased on the app that has absolutely no mention of it. The bottom line, do your research as I find they can be quite misleading.

Didn’t work properly for me. For some people it works and will provide them basic internet service but for many people it will not provide essential services such as iMessage or FaceTime - the very services a lot people are looking for. Or rather, these services might be configured to work if you can get hold of their support team but we tried & tried for hours over several days but it would just time out. However, after much delay and some pain we did get a refund.

Great product. Easy to set up eSIM, detected network, in two countries, without any issue. While it indicated I was using the 5G network this was never the case but it didn’t matter as I was always able to use my apps. Being able to keep my home mobile number was an unexpected bonus and kept me in touch with home. Even this was not a priority it was very useful. Definitely recommend it and I’ll be using it again. Well done Holafly. You rock?

I had trouble finding the eSIM in my phone once I had installed it but the chat team talked me through it. It wasn’t hard, I’m just not that tech savvy. Activating the eSIM once I arrived at my destination ( China) was super easy. The coverage was brilliant even while travelling on busses and high speed trains where I thought it might cut out. My husband used Holafly too without a hitch. I’ll definitely use Holafly again.

From the app I didn’t have an option to see how many days left I had before my e-sim or plan expires, taking into consideration the first activation and use.

I bought an eSIM 7 days for newyork however I did not receive the eSIM nor could I even sign in on my account. Went to customer support and they said they got my purchase however the eSIM hasn’t been fully purchased although my bank statement says it has been purchased. Do not recommend at all be aware!!

Avoid. $20 USD for nothing and nothing but time-wasting scam “customer service.” Now they write some bogus message about wanting to fix it. They wasted my money and my time. Worst waste of money ever. AirAlo is much better, it’s a real e-sim company with genuine customer service. Holafly is a hoax.
