Google Home Issues

After linking to google home it doesn’t show up on the google home list!! It confirmed as linked but it is not! What is happening?

Useless

Stonemanbytes on

If you’re looking at anything that needs this app, do not purchase it. No matter how good the hardware is, it’s only as good as the app that runs it. I bought a smart floodlight camera that uses this app and the light won’t work because the app won’t connect to it.

Annoyed and disappointed

Vr6t Bora on

United States

I purchased saatly brand recessed lights for my 17 foot high cathedral ceiling .This app seems to be the only way to control them, which would be ok if the app actually worked. It just crashes every time you try to open it and they won’t pair with any other app. So basically I wasted a ton of money and time. Now I have to waste even more money and time replacing brand new recessed lights because the app is garbage and they won’t work on any other app.

Instantly crashes

On my iPhone7 running iOS 15.1 the app crashes instantly. Latest version 1.4.2 still crashes on start.

App crashes every startup

I’m using iOS 15.0 and the app immediately crashes when opening. This happens every time making it completely unusable.

App won’t connect to Wifi/network

heavy user!! on

United States

I get an error message that say “The current network is unavailable. Please check the network settings “. Assuming this is meaning the home wifi network. Network is up and working fine, other applications are connected.

Can't link to google home

Asdfggedjzbvhe on

United States

I'm not able to link this app account to my Google home app. Anyone knows if there's a way to report the bug?

Making a password is far too difficult

zanewreck on

United States

So the error message that comes up says letters numbers and “thunderscore” 6-16 in length. What it needs to say is 6-16 in length start with a number and include an underscore. Other than the initial start up the app is fine, but I wasted a lot of time trying to come up with a password it would accept.
