Lots of software issues, huge letdown

Joanna24_ on

Australia

Ever since connecting to my HomePods many issues constantly pops up. I’ve tried updating to the latest version 18.2 however it has taken days to download, despite resetting it. Many issues when playing sounds, often my music gets cut off with relatively low crackling that comes and goes. It doesn’t support much apps either. My HomePod off notify the fact its not connected to the internet even though on the app it says it is, I’ve completely lost count how many times it has disconnected on it own. The sound is very inconsistent one moment it’s fine the next it’s gone or poor quality. With the home app, it takes forever just to load or connect with the HomePod. The biggest issue is just the reliance on wifi it’s a lack of versatility, it’s completely frustration. I’ve never been this annoyed by Apple product before despite owning lots of their other products. I’ve reset this too many times to even take consideration to try fix it.

Life ruining app

This app is boarderline fraudulent. It is almost as if apple did not even make this app. It horribly controlled some of my devices and it downloaded other unknown apps onto my iPhone. If this downloads on to your device delete it right away. This app literally almost ruined my life with no explanation from apple :( 👎🏻

Didn’t even install this app and found it was somehow draining my iPad battery in under a day. Tried installing it and removing it several times. FIX IT APPLE. Don’t want it, didn’t ask for it and can’t get rid of it. Wouldn’t recommend at all, kills battery life, absolutely useless.

Home in Watch stopped working

anomaniman on

Since the recent update, the scenes and commands in the Home app stopped working. When Siri is asked to set the scene, the watch will say “Setting the Scene” but nothing happens. Before the update, at least after three tries, it actually sets the scene. Now it doesn’t anymore. When Siri is asked via iphone the scene is set, so nothing wrong with the scene itself. Only the watch app becoming useless, making the watch less smart.

Finally, FINALLY automations have been fixed. They now turn on/off as programmed. Thankyou Automations no longer turn off at the selected time. It’s a pain in the neck that my HomePod will now only be used when I ask it to do something and then ask it to turn off. Pls fix After many resets and trials it turns out ABC Sydney radio is the one that doesn’t turn off with automations. Again, pls fix
