Worst app

Just a bit off advice save your money don’t waste it on this system we have had nothing but problems after spending over 4k

Waste of time

Awful app. We have paid a lot to have an alarm system and the installers gave us this app to access it remotely. 95% of the time it doesn’t work - just says login is wrong or it can’t connect despite already being logged in. Waste of time.

Not fit for purpose

I’m an authorised Pyronix installer and it shames me to have to say this, Pyronix systems are no longer fit for purpose. I’ve started using Ajax and the reliability of their system and especially of their app is flawless. The biggest joke is, their app is FREE!!! Pyronix have the cheek to charge for their app, it’s primitive, laggy and literally doesn’t work 90% of the time. Without a working app, it’s just another rudimental alarm system. Moving forward I’ll be ditching Pyronix and will only be offering the far superior Ajax systems.

Awful!!!!!

App is EXTREMELY temperamental! Some days it connects to WiFi and some days it just never works! Our router is literally 10 inches away from the control panel and still no luck. I need help!

Unforgivable bug

Twistsouth on

You appear to have a race condition in your code, causing biometric authentication to not trigger consistently. Quite often when I open the app and trigger a login, biometric scan does not occur. For a security app, this is absolutely unforgivable.

Customer service very helpful

Like many other users I was unable to log into the app and was told I had no internet connection. A quick email to the company had the issue resolved straight away - it turned out the user credentials on the main control panel were not the same as those in my phone. Thanks for the quick support! App works reliably for my partner & I now.

Worst app ever never connects. Keeps dropping out and can’t be asked

No alarm alert

EssTeaPea on

Unfortunately the app failed to notify me when the alarm went off, I was completely unaware and a neighbour told me when I got home. I’d also turned the alarm off with the fob before entering the house, so no panel alert. I’ve checked all the phone settings etc. and there’s no reason why I wasn’t alerted. This is a big problem.

Almost completely useless

I had this installed to control my alarm system. Ideally I want to be able to use this so that I can allow access to my father in law who struggles with technology. If I can disarm remotely then it’s much easier. It works intermittently with no rhyme nor reason. Most of the time it simply doesn’t work. All other devices are happily working on the WiFi but this doesn’t. Basically, there is very little chance it will work when needed. It basically says error and asks you to check all details are correct and try again in 30 seconds. Of course, the details are correct and it just doesn’t connect. Yesterday, I got notifications 20 mins after using the alarm panel (because the app didn’t work) a zone had been disarmed. I then tried the app and it was working. Later that afternoon it wasn’t working again. In the evening it started working again and now today it’s not working at all. Seems like this is a common fault with this app.

Terrible app never connects

Terrible app that never works! Never connects, pointless even trying I am considering cancelling my whole subscription because of this app I manage to gain connection less than 1 out of 10 times on average, I’ve had engineers attend to try to fix this but nothing works, terrible app
