When I seen this I thought great an other game trying to gain success by using pics and videos from different games. But I was wrong and I’ve never been so happy to be wrong this is the game that’s been missing since I’ve played them as a child and loved them. You can build a fleet and control them just like the others ( though limited size due to limitations) it’s been to long since I’ve played homeworld and now I can on the move
Been playing for about 6 weeks. Enjoying the game. Good progress. As soon as I sunk some money into it, day after, problem logging in with my Apple account and all progress has been wiped. Took the money and run!! Don’t play this game
I’m having an absolute blast playing this game but the quite frequent crashes are pretty irritating especially in the middle of engagements.
Just crashes ALL the time
Pretty standard ‘click through pre defined missions/campaign game’ marketed as RPG. Great to see Homeworld coming to mobile and it does stay true to the original game which is great, but you never really gain control of what you’re doing and where you’re going. Instead you just pres the next highlighted button and after a while you don’t even read the text pop ups. The UI is extremely fiddly on mobile phone and the plethora of menus and buttons is really confusing and unintuitive. I spent quite a while playing and could never remember where stuff is - but then again you don’t really need to know as you’re walked through and instructed to do everything anyway. You spend a lot of time jumping to different places to do missions, but every place looks the same and you complete the same mission over and over again. After the 10th star system, the names become irrelevant as you don’t know where you are in the wider universe and you’ll never need to come back anyway. The best part of the original Homeworld was researching and building a fleet of cool ships which all work is different ways to take on different challenges in different environments. This unfortunately hasn’t translated across to this game - in fact you are restricted to a small number of slots in your fleet so building interesting combinations of ships is impossible. As I say it’s ok, but not worth too much time.
Pretty self explanatory
As a beginner I’m finding it complicated to work out, then it crashes!
I really love this game, but it’s seriously impacted due to the apps stability and recurring ability to crash; It’s so frustrating. Not to mention the connectivity to the game server’s which is also questionable. Developers, sort out your stability issues and you have a great game.

Could be good but a lot of enemies too difficult early on leading to frustration and deleting the game!
