HSA Bank Reviews

Bad customer service

Rainman on

HSA bank is the worst bank ive ever dealt with in my life. It took two months to unlock an account after a profile change. 5/6/2024

Unable to use

It’s got a great feature- to be able to scan barcodes to see if a product is covered - BUT you have to be logged in to use it Since this is a banking app, I have a strong 15 character password. Now I have to remember this and enter it whenever I need to scan a product. This is really bad product design.

App and website are both terrible

Heather73738282 on

Doesn’t matter how many times you click to remember you in this device, it won’t and no matter how you change your email address it won’t send the authentication to that email, it sends it elsewhere making every time you login to do anything a huge and unnecessary pain. Also they take forever to process a claim. Tired of being forced into using services from companies who aren’t providing services well.

It’s just a crappy browser inside an app

yetanotheruser84739378228743 on

United States

This isn’t really an app. After logging in, all the actions just open an embedded browser within the app which is an extremely unpleasant UI since the website (and/or the embedded browser configuration) aren’t responsive so are incredibly annoying to use on a phone.

Not loading

This app is by far a terrible app that won’t even load the load screen. It has even disable my ID face several occasions because it says network error. HSA Bank get your stuff straightened and make it work.

Terrible

Chipatl86 on

Thankfully my company is moving away from this HSA bank. This app has never worked correctly. Logging in is abysmal. Why do I have to verify every time I login? And yes I do click remember this decide every single time and it never does. I often just give up and go to the website since it’s such a hassle.

Not a fan

dewereldreiziger on

I'm not a fan of "apps" that utilize a web interface within them. Really the app should be a true app. I should not need to punch zoom everything in order to see /view it. This diminishes the user experience greatly and adds frustrations. There are issues with the login, also. Every time i launch the app it just spins and spins at the login screen, as if it's trying to log in & fails, forcing the user to force close the app, reopen it & then authenticate. I'm not sure if this is in relationship to it being left open in the background and then being relaunched and having a stale session cookie or what the issue could be.

Can’t login

Cigarbeat on

This app is horrible. I have tried re-installing, etc and it refuses to allow me to login. I’m able to login fine on the website. The app allows me to change my password, etc but refuses to allow me to login. I really believe the HSA makes it as hard as possible in uses so they do not use all of their balance which then goes to them. Wish my company would switch back to our old HSA bank.

Not handling iPhone 14 Pro layout

TonyPizzle on

United States

The app doesn’t allow access to the menu or top of the app as it’s hidden behind the Dynamic Island and WiFi/battery data at the top of the screen. Unusable!
