Hybrid Calisthenics

Get healthy, fit, and strong

Published by: Hybrid Calisthenics

Description

Get healthy, fit, and strong with your body and gravity!
This is the official Hybrid Calisthenics app built around the Hybrid Fitness Routine.
There are 2 main exercise sections:
1.) The Routine - Walks a new person through every step of the routine. Where to start, what exercises to do, how to do them, how long to rest, how many sets to do, etc. It asks you how many reps you've done and tells you when you're ready to move on to harder movements. Great for beginners or those who haven't used the Hybrid Fitness Routine before!
2.) Movement Library - Pick and choose any exercise in the Hybrid Routine. You can use it as a reference to read or it'll walk you through the sets, rests, and reps similar to The Routine. Great for more advanced users and those very familiar with the Hybrid Fitness Routine. We'll continue to update and build to make this great for you!
This is Hampton writing this, by the way. Does anyone read these? Maybe I should start offering coupon codes hidden in the text. For now, comment DRAGONFRUIT anywhere on social media and I'll know you went the extra mile. It'll be our secret. Have a wonderful day!

Hybrid Calisthenics Reviews

Give it a go

Fasting Grant on

This is a well thought out program of progression which keeps you coming back for the next session. There are some minor challenges which will be resolved in time. Keep evolving the app Hampton, this is going to be great.

The exercises are good but the app is terrible

Very slow loading times. This can be annoying when you want to start exercising. Frequent log outs in between sessions. Although the progress is tracked the gap between sessions is not. If you haven’t used it for a week and log in on a rest day, then it’s a rest day for you. It should have a better memory of not just what level you’ve reached but what your last session was and what the current one should be as a result. It’s a shame the app is so bad because I like the idea.

Great exercises. App needs work.

I love this approach to callisthenics with the gradual increase in intensity. Videos are very helpful, the way the tutorials and form cues are set out is great. And the guy is very likeable. Only issue is with the actual app. Never seems to save my progress properly, making it harder to track where I’m up to. Echoing others, would be happy to pay to get rid of ads!

Infinite loading screen

I love the app format of this routine. I just have issues where the app won’t even load on some days. It gets stuck trying to load the home page. Additionally, the app can be really slow to move from page to page or to load all page elements.

Now using every day

love it - very balanced approach to working out and helping me rehab a damaged back and tightness from a broken leg

It’s going to be great

I’ve been following HC for a while and I love this sustainable, realistic approach to movement! The new app is a bit glitchy at the moment - I had some issues logging in and trying to reset password, but it wasn’t emailing me the link. It took me a while to realise I had to press “save set” and not “I’m done” at the end of a set. “I’m done” is for when you’re not doing any more exercise. And there’s a separate button to go to the next exercise. I would be very happy to pay for this app to remove ads, but for now they’ve definitely in the most convenient spot.

Wish it worked!

Can’t get anything to load. But wish it did!

Slow loading but awesome approach to fitness

Love this guy’s gradual, slow approach to sustaining fitness and body strength. Just wish the app would load faster. Be happy to pay to be rid of ads too! Hope this develops.

Won’t load

I so badly want this app to work, because I know that it will be terrific… When it works. But I just downloaded it, and upon opening, it won’t load. Just a black screen.

Love it!

Love the workouts and the guides! Very helpful and comprehensive :) most of my problems are with how the app works itself which is expected since it's relatively new. I dont like that after completing levels it automatically moves u up to the next lvl and marks ur workout as incomplete if you still only do previous lvl exercises, thats pretty discouraging as a beginner. Being unable to see what workouts you did in the past and at what level/progression is also something that bugs me as someone who kinda needs to see my progress in front of me to believe that its happening at all (adhd). excited to see the app grow!
