Is Hydrawise free?
Yes, Hydrawise is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Hydrawise legit?
⚠️ The Hydrawise app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Please bring the old App back. The usage reports are no longer available and the look and feel as well the functionality is seriously lacking compared to the old app! I thought that the new version was supposed to improve on the previous app?
Old App was Better
Prettier icons does not make a better app. Navigation and understanding was easier in the old app.

The original is just more intuitive and compact. The Home page on the new one is just a bunch of future weather reports. It’s an irrigation app, not a weather app. All those forecasts and no current conditions. Most importantly, the reports pages have no reports, just future schedules. Hopefully they don’t take the original down as I will continue to use it. If you want to make an adjustment or two to the original like adding the Actions button that would be the only thing from the new one that would be an improvement. Modify, don’t re-invent!
New App is a FAIL
Need desperately, recommendations as to which controller to move all of my customers to, cannot rely on Hydrawise any further, app is causing thousands of dollars in damages based on issues. Older version worked better but I know it will no longer be supported at some point and don’t want to be caught off guard. Other reviewers, please consider posting what systems you are moving to, it would be helpful.

Won’t upgrade to the new software package. I’ve been using this controller since December 2016 and I’ve never had a problem. Lately the head of the application they tell me that I need to upgrade to the newest software which I did unfortunately it does not load and I get it completely screen that is blank. It asked for the serial number of my unit and each time I put it in. It says it’s assigned to a different controller. I called Hunter in California, but unfortunately they are closed for the holiday. I contacted my local distributor, but they were not aware of the And recommended I put a note in the App Store.
Hunter needs to work on their upgrades for the app
I held off doing the upgrade on the app because the last time it was a nightmare. I was headed out of town and wanted to make sure I didn’t have the same problem I had before so I did the upgrade and that’s when the nightmare began. I followed the onscreen directions step-by-step, I couldn’t get the controller to reconnect to my network. I tried numerous approaches and nothing worked. I went to the online help, which didn’t offer a solution to problems with the upgrade. I attempted to call the company, but I couldn’t find a number. As a last resort, I clicked on the email screen. The note said they were off from December 23rd until January 2. Their support is pathetic if you’re looking for an immediate response.
New app
We would like to see weekly schedule back in new app. Smaller zone icons. Old app was totally fine.
