Bike Overview – Manage your e-bike and smart parts easily:

Hyena Rider Assistant provides everything riders need to read during their efforts. Select from 15 different riding information cards to the dashboard freely, e.g., current speed, average speed, odometers, range.

Range Map - Planning the ride smartly:
The “Range Map” function allows riders to plan the cycling route based on the remaining battery level and riding support level. The map also shows up all the available bike service stations, riders can find their best match shop by the filter.
Bike Reviews _Data Analysis:
Riders can check the precise ride data after their efforts, including weekly, monthly, and annual overview of riding and health status, history routes, and so on. All the data are collected in the cloud database.

Smarter security :
When equipped with Hyena iLock, riders can unlock the e-bikes by face ID, voice control, passcode, or set it to passive unlock mode. Once the smartphone connected to the bike via Bluetooth in 2 meters, the e-bike will automatically unlock itself.

Brand new comfort riding experience:
When equipped with Hyena iShift, riders can apply customized gear settings via the app. During riding, the derailleur will automatically switch to the suitable gear based on current riding conditions detected by the e-bike drive system.

Developers are very responsive. The app does exactly what’s needed. Easy and simple way to manage my e-bike.

Review based on app version 1.18.0 I was able to update 3 module firmware, iDrive, HMI and Battery, without any issues. I stood about 3 feet from bike during the updates which lasted a few minutes. I was hesitant to update based on previous reviews but, it worked for me! The app allows adjusting of motor power per assist level. There’s 3 levels on my bike and I can set the motor power % for each level. Dashboard is simple and can be adjusted to include speed, temp, calories, elevation. Overall it’s a great app. I wish I had found out about it earlier.

Latest update crashes upon open

Latest update was bricked, crashes immediately when opening. iPhone 15 pro, iOS 17.4.1

Pretty good app. However, the UI isn’t super intuitive, and it would be AMAZING if it could integrate with the health app

Thanks to previous reviewers who pushed to get the firmware update fixed. I was able to do that easily. (Not sure why the bike shop didn’t do that since it was 2 behind when I purchased the bike). Anyway it would be really helpful to be able to interpret error codes without having to take it to the shop. I was worried about continuing my ride and stressing until I could get to the shop and it was just a service reminder! Please include more documentation.

Once they fix the main problem where it did not track where you were going, I’ve been very pleased with it and the updates have gone fine. The only advice is check with your local store where you bought it to make sure they support it with using the app, mine does and the thing I love the most about this app is being able to adjust the power levels so that I can turn down the initial level to something I’m more comfortable with and turn up the third level when I need it.

A sad joke (NO LONGER!)

And it’s on you, the user. Portions of this app work, and are useful. Others don’t, and never have in the year that I’ve owned my ebike. A really important feature that doesn’t work is for updating your bike’s firmware. Even when they say they’ve fixed the problem, they haven’t. Every time I’ve tried to update my bike, the app says “Downloading files” and never gets beyond that point, no matter how long I wait. UPDATE: There have been two more releases since I wrote this review. Both claimed to improve the firmware update process. It’s impossible to see how, since all the app does is say that it’s downloading files. Also, their “App Support” link goes to a page that is for bike manufacturers, not for bike riders. Maybe they would get further if they worked with real app users to solve problems. UPDATE 2: A further update has been released. The developers get credit for trying to fix the firmware update bug, but it’s still broken. Thank you for trying, at least. UPDATE 3: The developers get a lot of credit. This time, the firmware update process works — and it has a progress indicator so I knew what was happening. The app also now has nice features that will make it a lot more useful when riding the bike. I’m looking forward to going out for a ride!

Cannondale Treadwell Neo 2

I’m not why but a lot of features are not working in this app only speedometer, assist level, and lights work. Nothing else is functioning. Please advise?
