Se nota que es una startup
Le ponen cariño en lo que hacen, pero se les nota la falta de recursos - hay algunos bugs aquí y allá, y las actualizaciones / control de calidad necesitan mejorar.
Uno de los mejores servicios de cloud files
Este servicio es extraordinario. Estoy absolutamente satisfecho: es muy rápido en upload y download, la interfaz es preciosa, tremendamente usable. Y la relación calidad-precio inmejorable. Absolutamente recomendable. Mi mas sincera enhorabuena a los desarrolladores.
Buena aplicación
A la aplicación solo le falta la compatibilidad con la App archivos de IOS, por lo demás funciona muy bien.
Great service with greater potential
This is a great service! Fast, secure and very well designed. When the next version of the app and desktop apps finally arrives, it will really make Icedrive the best service out there.
Don’t do it
Icedrive came recommended as a service similar to pcloud so I figured I’d give them a chance. Thankfully I started with a small storage tier (paid for life), figured if I like it I’ll upgrade later. But unfortunately the icedrive app is riddled with bugs that make the app unusable and they don’t seem to be in a hurry to fix anything, last I checked the app hadn’t been updated in over 11 months. Doesn’t seem like they’re even putting an effort into it. At this point I’ve accepted that I’ve wasted my money on this service that I’ll probably never be able to use.
Can’t log in
App must have updated automatically, now I’m logged out and can’t log back in. Login screen buttons do nothing. The app is hit or miss. Tried reinstalling.
A Suggestion for the Developer
I had IceDrive’s lifetime subscription for over three years now. I think if the developer invests a portion of the money they get from lifetime subscription into JP Morgan’s professionally managed JEPI and JEPQ, they together can yield about 10% per year if the times is good. And also invest a portion into treasury bonds from the US government that are yielding 4-5% per year up to 30 years, those should pay for the subscription itself if not more. I hope this helps!
Improvements
Two improvements I suggest are: 1. Allow user to set a security pin for the phone app. Security pin will be asked everytime you open the app (different from logging in) 2. Media player controls should hide when a tap is made
Great app!
Hey! Not sure why some users complaining, but I’m really enjoy to use this app. I have Linux, Mac, Windows, iOS and all devises sync with no issues. I like minimalistic desig and functionality. And I hope that developers will not trashing the app with functions which nobody need.
