Umständliche einrichtung aber super App!
Das beste
Benutze das programm schon seit 10 Jahren. Bis jetzt das beste was ich kenne. Habe alles Notenmaterial und alle setlisten von meinen Bands gespeichert. Das einzige was gut wäre eine deutsche Anleitung, da mein Englisch nicht das beste ist, aber es reicht. Bei den setlisten wäre eine andere Sortierung mit Nummer schneller.

Die angebotenen Inhaltsverzeichnisse passen nicht immer.
Die Idee der App ist prinzipiell gut, anhand vorgefertiger Indexlisten soll man Stücke aus den wichtigsten Realbooks schnell finden und anzeigen können. Die App ist also eine Art gemeinsames Inhaltsverzeichnis für mehrere Realbooks. Bloß: Bei den meisten Realbooks, die man als PDF bekommt, fehlen einzelne Seiten, z.B. Bilder, die nicht mitgescannt wurden. Ergebnis: Der Index stimmt nicht mit der PDF-Seitenzahl überein. Um das zu korrigieren, muss man dazwischen einzelne Leerseiten einfügen, was bei z.B. 500 Seiten viel Arbeit ist. Unterm Strich ist es einfacher, sich die tatsächlich benötigten Titel in einer eigenen PDF zusammenzufassen. Der Name iGigBook suggeriert, dass das Programm für die Verwendung auf der Bühne konzipiert ist. Aber es ist eben nur ein Inhaltsverzeichnis mit PDF- Reader, eher für Zuhause. Wer sucht schon aus Tausenden von Liedern auf der Bühne das passende raus? Es gibt mittlerweile Apps mit praxisnahem Workflow, wie zB 4Score, in die man sich die benötigten Noten oder Texte reinladen kann, mit Anmerkungen versehen und noch einiges mehr an Add-ons wie Audio, Metronom und Fernsteuerung per Fußschalter.
