I’ve been using iGig Book for a few years at all my jams and gigs It is incredibly convenient and powerful The transposing function is a total game changer I wouldn’t and couldn’t go to a jam or gig without this app

Love iGigBook

iGigBook has lightened my load. Instead of shopping bags full of books and charts I have my iPad. And while the other guys in the band are thumbing through pages looking for a tune - I’ve got it in front of me. Bravo!

8.9 with transpose add on is a seismic shift.

The Transposable option for Bob’s book that can be added to 8.9 is the “REAL” deal! Calling it a game changer is a huge understatement. It is a life changer!

So cheap and powerful I use it for all my music now and never carry books or any sheet music to the gig Finding a tune is very rapid and I don’t have to know how to spell it totally to find it Nerertiti for example All my fake books and music I have collected over the past 30 yrs Is on this iPad organized in this app gig book Great stuff Thanks Chris potter

As with any app it takes a while to get to know it and feel like you’re in control. Luckily I’d been saving most of my charts as PDF’s anyway, so transferring the charts to igigbook was fast, easy and requires no cables. Setting up set lists was pretty intuitive. The things I couldn’t figure out could be found on the internet fairly easily. It makes gigs and rehearsals a little more fun. No more lugging envelopes stuffed with paper. I can now ‘skate’ on it and do anything I need to do. Annotations and changes can be done quickly on the fly. I see there’s now an update. I’ll check that out.

No musician should be without this.

One of the best apps to use Real Books.

Very Poor

This is extremely frustrating app to try to use, it has failed every time, to provide any sort of convenient method of use. Save your money. It’s so difficult to add content to that it is rendered useless.

Very difficult to get started

I have had this app for a long time now but I never use it. I have a few of my own pdfs in it and a few that were probably included. No matter how I try to add new material such as the recent free pfds offered by igig, I get nothing but hundreds of blank pages. Every convoluted instruction leads to a dead end. I don’t even know where to start with the help section. I’m deleting this app and takinbg the loss. Going by other negative reviews, I expect to receive a snarky condescending reply from the developer.
