How much does Imprint cost?
Imprint has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is $59.82.
Their subscription does not show up in the subscription section in App store, and I ended up forgetting to unsubscribe and I've been charged for a 1-year subscription. Despite trying to contact them multiple times through e-mail, I have not received a single reply from them. Very unprofessional.
What do I think
I really enjoyed the learning journey. Easy to digest, but full on impact. Thank you.
Worth the price
I’ve been using this app for two weeks and it’s completely gotten rid of my need to scroll on social media (which makes me feel bad afterwards). This app makes me feel great after using it! I’ve already learned so much and now have much more to talk about at social gatherings. I love this app. If you get rid of one yearly TV subscription, it pays for itself. Or, if you think about a $20 book, it’s like buying five books in a year, but you will end up getting through more than 5 books in a year
10/10 would recommend
I got this app to try it out but I absolutely love it. I think it is worth every penny, I find myself using it on the subway instead of instagram or TikTok now. I had some issues at the beginning (account issues) and the imprint team helped me fix everything efficiently.
Fraud
I accepted your offer for the 7 days trial for free and after one day I was disappointed of your app and cancel the trial. While it happens that you already got my money for subscription! You are scam! Both in terms of money and app functions and quality!
Give me my money back!
Beautiful but glitchy
They’ve obviously put a lot of work into the design and content so it’s super visually pleasing, but the subscription is definitely feeling very high. My daily reads have repeated a couple of times and I’ve gotten stuck on pages that won’t move forward so I can’t complete the read. There’s currently a bug that my daily read stays the same as the day before unless I force kill the app which is annoying. I really think this app has great potential but for right now I’m regretting the price following the week trial.
Huge disappointment
Imprint is a huge disappointment. Years ago, people were saying it was too expensive with not enough content. Nothing has changed. The app still costs $100 USD, but it barely has anything to offer.
In the “Philosophy” section, there are only 5 courses. In the “Science” section, there are 6 courses. Each course takes about 15 minutes to finish. You could complete all the science content in just a couple of weeks. For $100, that’s nowhere near worth it.
It gets worse. The app looks abandoned. Their website and Twitter are dead—no updates, no new content, no announcements. There’s no sign it’s getting better.
And what’s with their executive team? They brag about being from Harvard and Stanford and selling companies, but what does that have to do with creating a good learning app? Imprint feels like it’s designed to take your money, not teach you anything. Avoid it.
Fantastic App
Plenty of quality topics all delivered in an educational and entertaining way.
Too expensive
Good app but too expensive plans. Make it affordable for general population please.
Got excited, then they trick you $
The ad says like duolingo but for philosophy. Well, no, Duo proves to you that it's worth it and convinces you through usage that the added features are worth the price of subscription. There are no free features with Imprint, subscribe or nothing...and at 100$ a year I am sorry, that's a lot of faith they're asking for.
I'll chat with gpt about philosophy for now.
