The developer changed the app to feature multiple apps per day, every day of the year, where devs pay to be featured… Previously the app was a curated list of indie apps offering sales during the holiday season, like an advent calendar for apps.
I love this! I have gotten a few app that i use everyday for free or as low as $1. I highly recommend it
There are usually some really high quality apps with excellent deals on in December, which was when this app was originally made for. However, it seems like the developer got a bit greedy and decided to keep the promotions (which developers pay him for) going, now into March. There are still “deals”, but the quality of the apps has deteriorated significantly, with a new low being the “AI Girlfriend” offered today. Really?! Please begin to curate the apps you accept again - it’s ruining the previously great reputation you had.

Notifications don't show the name of the app and force you to open it to see what the app is (the whole point of notifications should be to make it easier to know if it's something that will interest you), to aggravate the issue, the app dropped support for ios 16 and doesn't display anything when you open it in the old version.
Used to be good, was sold, now it’s junk.
This used to be a pretty neat app that showed you apps that maybe you hadn’t heard about. They’d be discounted for a day, and the hope was it would drive business to those developers apps. Now, it’s half baked betas that spam the daylights out of you for reviews. Many of the “free offers” don’t exist - and you find out after you’ve downloaded the app and given up personal info. Avoid this app and the trash it promotes like the plague!
This app has lost all its magic; holiday or not. Don’t bother. Offerings are mostly half finished betas of crappy AI apps. Notifications don’t work, but you aren’t missing anything. Not worth it. Don’t waste your time.
