App is not at all opening.
I love this app for putting outfits together. I digitized my entire wardrobe which was a LOT of effort, but totally worth it! I can assign my outfits to a calendar and track cost/wear and more. It’s really helped me level my style up and figure out what’s missing to get there. The billing is annual for $60 (5/m) or 9/m. The stylists are expensive, so it’s hard to justify but I really want to try one!
I really wanted to like the app but there is no way to mass upload photos and each photo takes like 30 seconds to load and the photo uploads fail a lot. I am open to using the app when they fix the bugs!
This is a thoughtful app but I’m disappointed that it doesn’t create outfits for me, I have to do that on my own. I thought that there would be an algorithm that would mix and match my closet to create new outfits I haven’t thought of - THAT would give me a lot of value, but it’s really just cataloging my closet. I also find the navigation not very intuitive. I keep clicking around to see if there’s something I’m missing, but I’m redirected a lot to the membership. I know my style so I don’t need a service, and without any outfit remixing, I just don’t get a lot from this. I’m sad to say that cuz I really like the app creator!
I love Indyx! It’s helped me so much to level up my style and make better purchases. My only issue with the app is that the “add item” feature often doesn’t work correctly and you’ll have to add an item multiple times for it to save the item/take or save the photo. It would be awesome if * You could save multiple photos per item, such as a cardigan could have 1 photo where it is open and one where it is closed so that you have different photos for the outfit layouts, but both photos are registered with 1 item. I have a necklace that I often wear as a bracelet or double up instead of wearing long so it would be nice to be able to reflect that visually in the layout. * You could add individual items to your calendar along with (but separate from) the outfit. For example, maybe I wore x outfit but I also used my rain jacket. The rain jacket is not a permanent part of the outfit but I want to track that I wore it.
Indyx has changed the game on how I style myself—I’ve been using it for 2 months and haven’t worn the same thing twice because now I know everything I have and am able to be so much more creative in styling vs just throwing something quick on before I leave. Yes, it takes a while to upload all your clothes but I did mine in sections and it’s SO WORTH IT and honestly very easy with it’s background removing software and easy UX. Plus, you can even pay someone to do it for you!! I can never let this app die, otherwise I’ll be devastated. It’s made my life so much better and easier. Favorite app atm!!
I’m obsessed with this app! It’s so well designed and user friendly, and there’s also so much data that can be utilized even in the free version. Kudos!!
I can’t trust any app that automatically signs me up for a “free trial” of a paid service when I click around to explore the app’s features. Even though they say I won’t automatically be charged, I don’t believe them. Been there before. This “courtesy” just feels deceitful. Deleted my account and the app at once. I better not get charged in a month!
The background remover is so important when it comes to these apps! So happy Indyx has a great one! And I tried a couple apps, Indyx won out by being the most pleasing to use. Aesthetically and organizingly Some things that would make the app better: A bit more colors to choose from when categorizing, maybe a colorful option. A bit more labels for categorizing… such as underwear/bras etc… this would be ideal for packing.. A mood board option. I would even love to see a feed were I can see other user’s outfits. I love the app, I’m satisfied with the subscription service. It deserves more! ✨🖤🧥
I have tried many apps like this before and this one is by far the best! It removes the background effortlessly and gets it right everytime. I love the features and ability to create collections for packing for a trip. The only thing I would suggest for developers is to let the users add our own subcategories. For example: under tops I’d like to add “long sleeve”. Other than that I LOVE this app!
