Indyx: Wardrobe & Outfit App

I’ve had Indyx for a year now and it’s completely transformed how I get dressed, how I shop, and how I pack. I’ve been trying to curb my spending for a few years, so I thought I would try this. Now I’m obsessed. 1. Stops duplicates— now when I’m scrolling or shopping in person, I check the app to see if I already have something similar. 2. Data dopamine— I’ve somewhat replaced the purchasing dopamine with a) challenging and rewarding myself for reducing cost per wear and b) it’s very satisfying to review all the clothing analytics (even if it does take awhile to input everything) 3. Outfit creation is easy— the outfit compilation is quick and easy. About 90% of the time I can tell if an outfit will work without having to try things on together And the ease has caused me to put together combinations I wouldn’t have considered before. A+

I never ever write reviews. Just too busy. But let me tell you this is the best. Very intuitive. Love it so much. Even without subscription it has so many great features but will prob buy $5 monthly just to support them because I like it this much. I can’t wait to tell all my friends. This will save me money and our planet from excess consumption in the long run because I can effortlessly create so many more outfits and feel the need to buy less. Thank you

I’m enjoying my weekly feed of new ideas about how to wear the clothes I already own (shout out to stylist Kim Preis!), but I’m also finding the digital closet helpful in other ways. When I am shopping, it is easy for me to see if I already own a piece similar to a new item I’m considering and/or to determine if I can wear the item at least three different ways with my current wardrobe.

I really like the concept of this app and was excited to use it at first. However, after a few months and comparing it to other closet apps, I feel like it’s missing some key features. While it allows unlimited clothing uploads which is great the focus seems to shift after the free trial ends, where the main goal feels like pushing you to buy a membership. Other apps, like Whering, offer similar premium features for free and are more user-friendly overall. They make it easier to plan outfits with tools like randomizers, streamline the process of uploading clothes, offer ways to connect with friends, and have better organizational categories. In contrast, this app feels more like a personal closet assistant or stylist rather than a tool to help me stay organized. While that approach may appeal to some, it’s not what I was looking for, and I don’t think the app description makes this distinction very clear. That said, I do love the overall look and feel of the app it’s sleek and visually appealing. I’m just disappointed it lacks the functionality and free features other apps provide.

This app is amazing. All of the features. The calendar, creating outfits, I haven’t used the analytics yet but I will. So cool.

The free features on this app are great. You can photograph and log all of your clothes, create outfits, and save your selections on a calendar. No monthly fee. Looks like they make money off of personal stylists, etc. Not a bait and switch. Good educational path with help on determining on how to define your style and use what you have in your closet. I tried a few before this one and am happy with it!

As a vintage collector I’m excited to get all my pieces in an access anywhere format. I’m looking forward to crafting outdoor style boards. User experience is easy. They are shaky on promo offer technology as last promo I could not access.

I have tried a few wardrobe management apps but in all cases I gave up because of their clunkyness and lack of useful features. Indyx is just the opposite. Easy to use and very effective.

I’ve tried a few closet apps before but this one is the only one I’ve found effective. Super easy to log outfits and the remove background feature is very fast! Within a week, I’d logged most of my closet and set up over 100 outfits! A true game changer in not just helping organise my closet but also got me using more of it!
