Intel® Unison™ solution is currently available for approved configurations of Windows-based PCs and pairs with phones or tablets. Intel Unison requires a companion Windows PC app that may already be preinstalled on your new Windows PC or can be downloaded from the Microsoft app store. All devices must run a supported OS version.


Instructions:

1. Install Unison app on your phone or tablet

2. Find the Intel Unison PC app on your new PC or install it from the Microsoft app store

3. Launch the Intel Unison apps on your PC and mobile device and follow the instructions

• Some features are only available with Intel Unison Premium
• Intel Unison Premium is available on Intel® Evo™ , Intel® vPro®, and selected premium devices

A Solid Tool with a Minor Glitch

The Intel Unison app for the iPad is a robust tool that has undoubtedly simplified my file transfer processes. Its intuitive interface and user-friendly design make it a standout choice for seamless data management. However, there is one significant hiccup that hinders the overall experience. During file transfers, I've encountered an issue where the screen turns off, abruptly halting the ongoing process. To counter this, I've resorted to playing a YouTube video in picture-in-picture mode to prevent the screen from dimming. While this workaround is effective, it would be ideal if the app incorporated a feature to prevent the screen from turning off during transfers, ensuring uninterrupted workflow. Despite this drawback, the Intel Unison app remains a valuable asset for simplifying data transfers, and I look forward to seeing this issue addressed in future updates.

An Effective Tool with a Few Hiccups: A Review of the App’s Functionality

The application is indeed quite commendable as it greatly facilitates work; however, there have been instances where it failed to function as expected. Specifically, while it establishes a connection with my iPhone without issue, I have encountered difficulties in transferring files from my laptop to the device.

Intel unison is very inconsistent and it doesn’t even works most of the time. 1) It takes an eternity to connect 2) after that it may or may not connect. Assuming it connects even then it’s not even half the job done. It’s “drag&drop” feature doesn’t works and I have manually find and enter a file which could be infuriating. 3) even after all this drama it just stops at “receiving “ and doesn’t do anything. Very poor experience. Better off just installing a 3rd party message app and sharing files via that.

File transfer slowness

Transferring for file size more than a GB is taking more time. Enhance and increase the transfer speed rate.
