Civilization is in peril, and it's up to you to defend it. Lead a team to save the world from alien threats in this turn-based strategy game.
The remnants of human life are threatened by giant creatures breeding beneath the earth. Carefully choose your squad of powerful pilots and mechs to protect your territory. Each attempt to engage the enemy presents a new challenge in this futuristic combat game, which PC Gamer named Ultimate Game of the Year in 2018.
Features:
• Defend cities: Civilian buildings power your mechs. Defend the structures from the enemy and watch your fire!
• Perfect your strategy: Enemy attacks are telegraphed in minimalistic, turn-based battles. Analyze your opponent's attack and come up with the perfect counter every turn.
• Build the ultimate mech: Find powerful new weapons and unique pilots as you fight alien infestations across multiple islands.
• Another chance: Failure is not an option. If you're defeated, send for help back through time to save another timeline.
• Advanced edition content: This newly expanded version of the game includes advanced weapons, mechs, pilots, enemies, missions and more.

Strategy Masterpiece
Beautifully balanced game by the makers of FTL. Rules are simple to learn but tremendous complexity of outcome emerges from the different combinations of abilities, enemies and environments. Wide variety of weapon types, pilots, squads and achievements make for great replayability. I’m currently replaying with each squad on the highest difficulty level. Most attempts I fail but there’s just enough randomness in the weapon upgrades and pilots that are presented on each attempt to allow me to squeak through but only if I get the strategy just right.
Great game
Awesome game and audio issues have been fixed :)
Can’t Launch
Instantly crashes at login screen.
One of my favorite casual games.
Love Into the Breach, so happy it's on IOS now. Very replayable game with a lot of different playstyles and strategies possible. Well adapted for mobile, UI functions well and I encountered no bugs in 30+ games.
My only note would be that players who haven't played on other platforms might not realise how XP distributes on non-mech kills without the visual cue, or that chooisng a new pilot loses the current ones XP/lvl.
I’m happy!
Thanks Netflix! Brilliant move, wonderful game. Great job my favourite version of the game
Turns off music
Like heaps of people I like to listen to music while I play.
Big nope.
Turn your music off & only audio you can use is game music & effects.
Fail. On that alone.
Too small on iPhone 12
While it’s a really faithful conversion to mobile and plays well, everything is too small on my iPhone 12. Need an option to zoom in to see what’s going on. At the moment it’s too frustrating to play
No sound on not 1 but 2 iPads, requires Netflix account?
I’m ok ‘activating’ the game once with Netflix but it looks like I’m going to need to be an indefinite subscriber to access the game.
That’s madness.
The lack of sound is the clincher tho. I love FTL, eager to try this but it literally has no sound, it’s currently unplayable.
