The game’s art direction is awesome, as it is the soundtrack as well. But the absolutely horrid game design, that depends so much on pure luck due to the RNG, the constant unfairness of the scenarios, the fact that everything is usually set up to create unescapable fail scenarios no matter what right decisions one makes, pushes this game into what can only be called a frustrating depression inducing system. One can easily see this in the absolutely huge gap in difficulty that goes from “Easy” to “Normal”. If the former is already very hard, Normal is essentially near impossible for a beginner (why call it “Normal” difficulty then?). Can’t even imagine playing on the other difficulties unless one is a complete masochist. It boggles the mind to think what was in the minds behind it to waste such amazing art assets, great soundtrack and cool original concept with such an “edgy” desperate for that marketing we-want-to-be-the-next-dark-souls approach.
