iOrnament combines art and science. You draw a simple stroke and iOrnament turns it into stunning patterns and mandalas according to rules of symmetry. With iOrnament everyone can be an artist. You will create fascinating ornaments and intricate designs. Fun and challenging from ages three to one-hundred for both doodlers and creative professionals. iOrnament is an app that is designed for drawing ornamental designs that are both artistically and mathematically fascinating. You draw simple strokes and the app repeats them over and over according to the rules of the 17 crystallographic wallpaper groups. By this, fantastic symmetric patterns are created. Kaleidoscope-like pictures, tilings, complicated knots and artistic pavements are right at your fingertips. In addition, iOrnament contains an interactive pop-up book that explains mathematical backgrounds on the theory of wallpaper groups and a sampler of classical ornaments from ancient cultures.

Right handed/left handed
Great app, but please let us choose what side the menu is on. As of right now. The app is much easier for left handed. When i Draw With my right hand, i accedentaly push some menu buttons

Et fabelagtigt kreativt værktøj!
Sjovt og lærerigt mønsterværktøj, der grupperer og duplikerer streger man tegner. Mulighederne er endeløse, og der er mange timers sjov, for alle med en lille Escher-wannabe i maven. Det er afstressende og stimulerende på samme tid at bruge denne app, meget terapeutisk :) Min absolutte yndlings-app!
Fantastisk, brugbart, sjovt og lærerigt
Jeg har altid været fascineret af M.C. Eschers mønstre med motiver. Denne App er nok det letteste og sjoveste værktøj til at forsøge sig med mønstre op algebra. Let og overskueligt. En tilsvarende desktop App ville være ønskelig.

Enkel og effektfuld. Der er mange apps af denne type men denne er en af de bedste.
