Whether you’re a casual home user or a network professional, IP Scanner Ultra is all about customizing the way you view and analyze your network. You may apply custom names and icons to the devices on your network and adjust the type and amount of information you see in the network overview; don't need to see the MAC address column... don't display it! Text too small... make it larger! We also include a whitelist feature that lets you filter out known and trusted devices to reveal new or unexpected ones, a great way to easily identify unwanted network visitors.
IP Scanner Ultra can be used in several primary modes such as:

Not working anymore

Idk what to say, it is the best app I used and I paid for it, now it is NOT working at all, as it quite by it self and I can’t use it Update 12.18.24 so there is an update and I did it and still not working anything you doing about it? please thank you

Excellent tool

Have been using it for a year now. Can't live without it.

No longer useful

Used to be the best. Now it is not really usable on MacOS. It doesn't do anything like attempting to probe/ping every IP, instead it relies on reading the OS arp table to find the IP addresses. This is fast, but unfortunately, unless your device has had reason to contact all the devices on your network, it is an incomplete list. I used to recommend this to everyone. Now on the search for one that actually works...

Great Basic Sniffer

I have a smart home and sometimes devices get lost. I try to hard code an ip address for every device, but sometimes when they update or if I add a new device they “get lost”. I use IP scanner to scan the entire network when things get lost or if the network is very slow. One day I discovered two devices eating a lot of bandwidth, and no , not my banned chinese cameras either. I rebooted the devices and all was well. I also once found the neighbors kids streaming TV on our guest network when their parents cut them off for homework time.

Virus!

Got the most awful virus after dienolosdubg this. Beware!!!

Handy Utility

IP Scanner Ultra is a Very Handy utility, I use it every day.

Scanner works, simple, some features

The data is some times inacurate. No alerts, seems to sample slow.

Works fine but very hard on resources

Using this on an older MacBook Pro but its struggling - fan on high and task monitor is showing the cpu at 181% just for IP Scanner Ultra - Seems rather intense for something the is just running probes - Features are nice and its an easy piece of software to use
