iPocket Draw is a vector drawing program comprehensive (CAD 2D), which offers to you total control over your drawing.
Of course all the simple drawing tools are available: line, rectangle, oval, arc, polygon, text.
But also tools of free line with vectorization option (recognition of simple shapes), spline, regular polygon.
All attributes of each object can be edited and changed: line color, line thickness, background color, dotted, arrow, font ...
But also the coordinates of each object because iPocket Draw lets you draw with a scale chosen and modified.
iPocket Draw also has a cotation tool simple and multiple.
And functions of attraction powerful and accurate on the ends of objects but also the centers and on the intersections between all object types.
The drawing area is not limited.

iPocket Draw has a file manager from which you can send your drawings by e-mail format iPocket Draw (RealCADD) or DXF or pdf or jpg image.

This is a fantastic app. I have no prior experience of CAD programs but I got the hang of this in only a couple of hours. Started with Lite and upgraded as needed more objects. Very easy to use on the iPad. Managed to do a plan of an exhibition stand with no problem Not sure what it would be like for something more complex but you might need a full pro program if that is what you are trying to do. Only thing I find a bit clumsy is showing the dimensions but no doubt will get the hang of that. Best $12 I have spent in a while.

I found this app after a bit of searching for a simple engineering drawing (vector drawing) tool.
The lite version is good for trying the app out, but for any proper use, you'll need the full version, as the lite has no save functionality.
The app is very easy to use and provides a good range of the basic drawing tools that should be familiar if you have any experience using a regular CAD application. The improvements added in version 1.5 are very welcome, and really help with the precision of placing objects when using your finger! I was pleasantly surprised to find how easy it was to be accurate with object positioning, and the ability to be able to define object parameters numerically. Dimensioning works a treat, as does snapping, and there is a good depth of customization available to the user.
Save options include the usual raster image formats, as well as PDF and even DXF, which is great for transfer to the desktop. The native rcad format is compatible with the vendor's desktop application.
All in all - highly recommended.
Email issues
Great program, but can't email PDF or jpeg. Expensive if it doesn't give me a way to export what I draw!
Idraw
Useless without functional import features. Whenever dxf files including those that have been changed using the authors dxf update to version 12 program which costs a prohibitive 45 dollars the iPocket Draw program crashes.
What makes the situation worse is that all instructions are in French which unfortunately I do no understand.
Tantalizing potential
This app has just been upgraded so I am updating my review. It is a tantalising mixture of advanced good drawing tools and some frustrations - some imposed by the small screen and limited accuracy of the finger and some by tools that are yet to be added. The instructions could be more detailed but the more I use it the more surprised I am at what can be achieved. With practice you can do quite large and detailed accurate scale drawings and now you can add nice text and very good looking dimensions - a real bonus!
The description of the program's capabilities in the app store and on the web site do not do it justice. It is just the thing for doing some reasonable dimension drawings on the move. It will never take the place of larger CAD cousins but with some further refinements I am sure it will be a become a very useful mobile addition. I make furniture and I am always looking for ways to draw up interesting pieces that I see.

It's a good app but it just needs more updates to make it more improved. Like an eraser like tool and arrows.(how do you make them.
