In some ways, this is a good app and service. In others however, it is hostile towards users with disabilities. For example, the “feature” of automatically archiving chats it deems to have not been sufficiently active, with no way to disable that particularly idiotic and disability-unfriendly design choice. You can tell these amateurs have both no experience in UI design in general, and have sought absolutely no input from disabled users, which is even more infuriating when they make it incredibly difficult to even contact any kind of support staff. In summary, avoid.

Although this app lets you stay permanently connected to IRC even when not in use, it only lasts 7 days. After that users have to pay £50 a year. You should tell users this from the start so as not to get their hopes up.

This is where it’s at. A professional and well polished app that stays connected. This is just what IRC needs. Have tried other IRC clients like Igloo and Palaver - full of bugs and don’t even come close. Don’t waste your money on the other IRC clients!

I’ve been using this for about a year now and it’s great. Frequently updated, well supported and with lots of great functions it’s my preferred irc client

Works perfectly over 3G/4G, but struggles to keep connected over wifi. Great app, just very annoying.

Undernet doesent connect , dont bother

Thank you for providing the best iOS IRC client ever, all other clients are terrible. This is the best one. Also love the different themes and the original IRC retro theme. Keep up the good work!

The app and service are both excellent, however this app burns through battery very quickly, according to my battery settings IRC Cloud used almost 50% of battery and I had to charge my phone three times as a result. Keep it closed if you don't have a plug nearby.
