Disappointed
I like the looks and the suggested features, but it's poor in staying online and is very limited in choice for a ringtone. I better go look into how to get a refund.

iSip, formerly sipphone. This is the first general sip client for iPhone. This is also the first app on iPhone to record phone conference.
Just use any voip provider, you can make sip call with this application. You can also setup the SIP server in your own organization, with this application, your iPhone is your extension. By the way you can record your conference with one tap a way.
The iSip application works on iphone, IPod Touch and iPad.
With this application, user can make cheap VOIP calls when his/her IPhone or IPod Touch is connected to the internet via WIFI.

Note:
(1) This is SIP client software on iPhone, you need to have SIP account from SIP provider in order to use this software.
(2) For iPod touch 1st generation users, you need upgrade your iPod to iPhone/iPod OS 2.2 or above and you also need external MIC.
We have tested this app with Macally iVoiceIII external MIC.
(3) SKYPE is not sip protocol, so this app does not support SKYPE account.
(4) Some mobile network operators may prohibit or restrict the use of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) functionality over their network, such as the use of VoIP telephony over a cellular network, and may also impose additional fees, or other charges in connection with VoIP. Please check with your service provider before you use SIP call over 3G or Edge network.
(5)Changes in prefix settings:
Now we have prefix for each account, the prefix for each account only works for calls made from address book.
When the per-account prefix is not set, the prefix in setting will be used, it works for all calls

Werkt goed op de iPhone, maar absoluut niet met een iPad. Ondersteuning wordt niet gegeven - in ieder geval na 3 x 48 uur nog geen enkele reactie. Onbetrouwbaar. Weggegooid geld.

Works reasonable
I was looking for a good voip app thas suports SIP. + easy configuration + works like yust like your normal phone app on your iphone + easy to use + good tech support - a lot of echo in the line, even with wifi broadband connection - app terminates when a GSM call coms in - grahics a bit blurry tech support tells me the echo cancellation will be fixed by upcomming releases, so I would wait. Bottom line: not usable in a business environment

Dit is pas echt een goede SIP app!! Ik ben er zeer tevreden mee en voor iedereen die een echt goede SIP app zoekt moet het hier vinden. Gebruik het nu een aantal dagen met een budgetphone.nl nummer en het werkt prima. Nummer komt binnen, ook als ik mijn iPhone niet aan heb staan en krijg push berichten. Kwaliteit is super en kan het iedereen aanraden te gebruiken. Top app en daarom 5 sterren. This is really a good SIP app! I am very happy with it and for anyone looking for a really good app SIP should find it here. Use it a few days with a budgetphone.nl number and it works fine. Number comes in, even if I'm standing on my iPhone and receive push messages. Quality is great and recommend it to anyone to use. Top app and therefore 5 stars.
