Payed for all add ons no detection of iridium flares and now the app won’t even load want a refund
This is the best app I have found so far to find the ISS, it will tell you when it is visible and how long for, how high in the sky it will be, the cloud cover, everything. The radar points directly to where it will first be visible and where it will disappear, learn how to use the radar, it is super useful.
Works great for the ISS but alerts for Amateur radio Sats don’t seem to work. (For me at least) And as others have mentioned been able to change the date format would save a lot of confusion.
I’ve been using this app for a couple of years & my experience has been great. In the Southern Hemisphere it is very accurate & the alarm feature means you never miss out. Well worth a couple of dollars to buy the full version from this clever person. Well done.
I briefly tested this app, and it seems to be worth recommending. It is definitely a great effort. However, the date format is the wrong way around for most users in the world. There are not a lot of countries where the month comes before the day. This can be quite confusing for about 95% of he world's population. (Source: Wikipedia) A quick solution here would be to spell out the name of the month, three letters is sufficient, or give us a setting, or better even detect the locale automatically in the program. Otherwise it seems to be very useful, well made and easy to work with. Can't wait for my first sighting ...and the next upgrade.
Not sure about the accuracy of this app as it is still showing Tiangong-1 in orbit. I was hoping to see where it landed via this app.
Easy to use and informative app. I bought the upgrade to see the other objects in the sky, but they aren’t listed. Hmmm, but of a rip off but hopefully they won’t be lost in space for long.
Great app but why does it keep forgetting all my satellites causing me to have to reinstall?
Hey Derk, good morning! I updated my iPhone 13 to iOS 18 yesterday. ISS Detector opens just fine to the main screen, and I can access the settings menu and buy packs, but whenever I tap on one of the satellites on the main screen, it opens and then the app immediately crashes. I've tried restarting my iPhone and even uninstalling and reinstalling ISS Detector, but the same issue keeps happening. Unfortunately, I can't use the app after updating to iOS 18. Thanks for your help! Cheers!
